I pushed down the dread that was determined to knock my knees apart and schooled my face to express nothing but stoicism. Seranas was far to dangerous to even attempt to take on alone so I kept all emotion from my voice before I addressed her words.

"And why were you looking for me Seranas? We settled our business already, did we not?" I questioned with forced calm that I did not truly feel. Seranas citrine colored irises narrowed from cat shaped to slits, the air became thicker and my lungs began to constrict inside my body.

"Tsk tsk, now now little doggy, I helped you but yet you did not use what I spent so much time creating just for you." She whined, her voice sending honey flavored thrills through me. Her eyes swirled and I got lost in the hypnotic gaze, my mind blanking out on me. Why was I here again?

"Why little doggy, did you not give Eden the NECKLACE?!" Her voice boomed inside my head, shattering my ability to hear and I fell to the ground as an unseen weight settled on top of me. Her magic was spiraling out of control in her anger but despite how ... Suffocating it was, I still managed to make it to my knees.

"H-how do you know that .. I didn't give Eden the necklace?" Overwhelming suspicion sneaked into my mind and refused to budge as Seranas stare grew ominous. A aura of translucent pitch black curled around her body and her citrine eyes took on the hue of obsidian, giving her a look of a Widow Witch instead of the sweet forest Witch.

"You were suppose to be good and obey, give her the necklace. It was a simple job that even a monkey can do it! So how the hell did a mutt fuck it up?!" Her honey voice was now deep, mingled with the sound of something far more feral than my own and her hair of brass waist length locks slashed wildly against her frame.

Reaching deep down into my soul, I forced my phase but in the midst of change, a orb of the deepest Crimson materialized in Seranas right hand and with a screech, she threw it at me and instead of feeling an terrible impact, the magic seeped into my chest, disappearing completely into me.

Eyes wide open, I felt nothing at first. Then slowly, a fire rode my nerves and set them ablaze until I was panting on my hands and knees. The spell she cast was suffocating me from the inside and I could see black dots aligning my now dimming vision. Slender fingers with long nails sharpened to the finest point traced the bottom of my chin then gripped it in a crushing hold, forcing me to raise my head up to stare into the empty eyes of Seranas.

"That little pup of Laiya's has something I need and you were going to help me but your heart is weak. How can you call yourself a man when you can't even do what's necessary to get what you desire?" She hissed in my face and her hold became even tighter.

"But no worries mutt, you can fix this. I can feel Eden coming, she'll be here soon and you my pet, are going to give her the pretty little necklace. Are we clear?" The black of her eyes bore into the very essence of my body and I was at her mercy. Unable to do anything else, I agreed and she released her hold on me. Straightening up, her irises returned to their normal citrine glow and the feral boom dispersed from her voice.

"Good! Now off you go." She cheerfully said with a clap of her hands and I rushed out the Hall, making my way towards the dark outside and when I made it, I stood there for a second to gather my thoughts. I didn't know what Seranas wanted with Eden but I'll be damned if she got it. So frantically, I sniffed the air for Eden's scent and with a realization of dread, I caught it. What made it worse was that her scent was flanked by three others, one belonging to Mason.
