Taehyung had reassured me that Jungkook and Jimin were safe. Taehyung had also been distant towards me.
I couldn't blame him though. If I got rejected or pushed to the side I'd be just as upset. Now, I'm stuck having to watch Yoon cling onto-
"Angel, you're spacing out again. Stop avoiding me."
Namjoon poked my nose, giving a dimpled grin as I scrunched my face in distaste.
"Namjoon..." I said softly, looking over at Yoon who was slipping on her shoes. She had requested to go over and play with Jimin. I made sure Namjoon didn't know Jimin was currently at Taehyung's. Namjoon thought the pair from before had been handed off from Taehyung.
"Seokjin." Namjoon dead panned.
I rolled my eyes and stood up just as the doorbell rang. Yoon sprinted to the door excitedly and waited for me to open it. I slowly cracked it, seeing Jungkook fiddling with his fingers. Once he sensed my presence he mumbled out
"Tae's in the car, he asked that I-" "Yeah, yeah. I figured. Yoon, say bye to Papa."
I squated down and Yoon pecked my cheek.
"Goodbye, Papa!" she then turned towards the tall figure sitting on the stairs "Goodbye, Daddy!"
Namjoon waved gently, sending a small glare at Jungkook once Yoon turned back around to exit. Jungkook gulped and bowed, bidding farewell.
After I closed the door I turned around and crossed my arms.
"When will you go home?"
Namjoon stood up and walked over to me, snaking his arms around my waist. A pink blush stained my cheeks and I looked away in embarrassment.
C'mon, Seokjin. Pull it together.
"I'm already home. Why are you asking such a silly question, hmm?" He mumbled, nuzzling his face into my neck.
He peppered my neck with butterfly kisses and I fluttered my eyes shut. It took everything in me to hold back a moan, instead I gently pushed Namjoon away.
"No. No, no, no. You can't just- just-"
"Just what?" Namjoon tilted his head to the side cockily "I can't kiss my husband?"
I froze.
"Sweetie, you can't keep pushing me away. Especially when you want this just as bad as me..." Namjoon slowly stepped towards me again, causing me to step back.
I could see a flash of anger in his eyes. I knew playing with fire was dumb, but I have to keep some sense of pride within me.
Within a split second, I darted up the stairs. Planning to lock myself in my bedroom.
"Seokjin!" Namjoon shouted, sprinting after me.
"Leave me alone!" I cried out, about to slam the door but Namjoon made his way through.
All I could see was fury. Pure anger within him. I shrunk back, biting my bottom lip as sobs racked throughout my body. I croaked out a weak call of his name which made him soften.
"Angel..." Namjoon gently said, I could only sob. Feeling as if my legs might give out at any moment.
"Please don't be scared of me... I just want you to accept me back..."
Namjoon inched forward, his words going unheard to me as I continued to cry. I sniffled and brushed away my tears.
"I d-don't want this anymore, Joonie. I just want a normal life." I choked back another sob and looked away from the man who has caused me so much hurt, so much pain.
