I stepped out of my car, making my way towards a strong figured male.
"Once I give the signal you can go inside and raid."
The man chuckled darkly before nodding.
"We'll be in the hideout."I gave a kert nod in response and bid farewell once I saw Taehyung and his members pull into Namjoon's work area.
I quickly ran to a side window as the guards were distracted by greeting Taehyung and the others. To my surprise it was unlocked, allowing me to slip inside and sneak my way around the large masses of area. Muffled voices caught my attention and I crept closer to the sound.
"Have you heard from Seokjin?"
"Again, no. But from the data we've gathered we can confirm that the out of order gangs aren't targeting him."
Namjoon still cared, that I knew. I did as well. Which is why I'm doing this. To finally have peace and protection. Something I've always wanted within my grasp.
The door to the space they were in was unguarded, I took the advantage and stepped my way to the door. With a deep breath and quick pep talk, I opened the door.
"Seokjin!" Both shouted, standing up from their chairs after realizing I was the intruder.
I closed the door and payed them no mind, pulling up a chair and slamming documents on the table.
"Shut up and listen closely." The two shared a worried glance before looking back at me, shock still written on their faces.
"I have pulled together your top enemies as of now, I can give them a signal to easily allow them to raid this place and kill your men. OR, you can obey to my rules and demands and I'll lead you straight to where they're hiding, giving you the chance to rid of your enemies. Pick quickly."
The two men sat frozen, eyes boring into my presence. I took soft slow breaths to refrain from growing nervous.
"Seokjin, do you know what you're getting yourself into?" Taehyung tilted his head to the side, not feeling threatened by me at all. Namjoon on the other hand just stayed looking at me, almost as if portraying a statue.
"I do. I'm sick of being a toy."
Taehyung sighed, adjusting himself in his chair.
"This i-" "You've stalled enough time, give me an answer or I'll give the signal for raid."
This caught Taehyung's attention, "You aren't bluffing, are you?"
"You are correct." I pierced my sharp cold gaze into his soft one.
Namjoon stood up "What're your demands?"
"It's quite simple..." I looked up at him, a grin appearing on my face. "No more secrets, I want the truth 24/7." This time I stood up and began pacing around the two males.
"Also, you and Tae need to become one. So I have more protection for Yoon. Lastly-" I paused, gaze landing on Namjoon's "You let Hoseok and Yoongi go, still giving them payments."
Namjoon almost protested but Taehyung spoke up first. "We agree to your demands. We'd be fools not to."
My eyes travelled down to the documents, the two followed my stare and grabbed the set.
"Just sign it and I'll show you where the others are hiding."
With hesitation they slowly signed the papers, once finished I snatched the documents and began leading the way. They followed close behind, asking question after question once I didn't respond. I stopped in my tracks, pointing to a far storage unit.
"Behind there are around 46 men waiting for my signal. Quickly tell your men to attack, I've wasted enough time."
Namjoon grabbed his pager, alerting his members detailed information I couldn't understand because of the code words and numbers. Taehyung directed his men a similar way. They then pulled out weapons, my eyes widened.
"What're you doing?!"
"We fight as well, we don't just let our men do all the dirty work." Taehyung chuckled, him and Namjoon making their way to the storage unit.
This wasn't part of the plan.
I debated on whether I should follow or not, my instinct told me to hide but something else told me to follow. My feet carried me, not far though. The gunshots began and all that could be heard was shouting and the firing of ammunition. The air got slightly foggy from the gunsmoke. I coughed and squinted my eyes, trying to see who was winning this battle.
"Seokjin! Run! What the fuck are you doing out here?!"
"I-I, I don't-" "Namjoon! We've stabalized the condition, many of the men are retreating. We're sending ours to follow and finish them."
Namjoon nodded at Taehyung and focused back on me, eyes widening as his gaze went past me. I turned around to be met with the leader of one of the enemy gangs, the one I made a deal with.
"You lying brat!" He raised his gun up at me, causing me to gulp. "No one move or the son of a bitch dies."
It almost seemed as if time were frozen, each of us trying to calculate a way out of this. Seeing as there weren't any, due to the fact that all the guards were chasing after the fleeing rivals, we sat still like a deer in front of headlights.
"You think you can play me without any consequences?! Huh?!" The man stepped closer, setting his gun "Answer me you piece of shit!" His steps got closer, gun insight. Before I processed anything my ears heard the fatal noise.
Bang. Bang.
Double shots were fired but the bullet the other shot didn't hit me. Something, someone, blocked it. Tears welled in my eyes as I saw his body on the ground.
This wasn't apart of the plan, Seokjin. You should've ran when Namjoon said to.
