Luke's PoV

"Will you please speak to me."

I begged Harper as I followed her down the corridor. She turned around hastily "Stop following me." She yelled harshly.

I literally shrunk back. "Harper, please speak to me."

When she saw how upset I was, her facial expression softened and she sighed. "Luke I'm sorry, I just don't want to talk about it."

I don't know what it was but something in me just snapped. "You know what? Fine, don't speak to me but just know you're acting really pathetic."

I then stormed off down the hall, not turning back to look at her.

"Dude what's wrong with you?" Liam asked placing a hand on my shoulder sympathetically.

I shrugged playing around with the food on my fork. "Not in the mood."

He nodded and went back to his own tray of food "If you wanna talk, I'm here for you."

I nodded still looking down at my food. My eyes shot up as my nostrils filled with a familiar perfume. I looked up to see Harper. She frowned as she saw my physical state. "Is this seat taken?" She asked less than a whisper.

I shrugged carelessly "Sit down if you want, it's a free country."

She nodded and drew out the chair, putting her tray onto the table. "You not hungry?" She asked referring to my still full tray. "If I was hungry don't you think I would be eating?" I snapped.

She jumped slightly a small squeal coming out of her mouth.

I frowned. I scared her, I made her think I was going to do something. Never in a million years would I want her to feel in danger because of me. I sighed "Look Harp . . . "

She held her hand out to stop me "Look it's fine." She then turned around to talk to Megan.

Nice work Luke.

I turned my attention to Bree who walked over to our table, arms linked with this tall blonde.

"Guys this is Aspen . She's sitting with us." Bree said gesturing Aspen to us.

Alec wolf whistled "Bree, I didn't know in drama you can bring back hotties. I might just have to take that class." He earned a slap to the arm from Amanda.

I small smiled creeped onto my lips, them two are hilarious together. Alec raised his hands in defense "Babe, calm down I'm joking."

Aspen sat down in an empty seat and Bree sat in the one next to her.

"So what brings you here?" Cole asked

"Well...um.... you see..."

"She came for a boy." Bree said speaking for her.

Before any more words could be shared. Someone bursted through the cafeteria doors. As Ryder reached the table his eyes widened.

Aspen stood up at his presence. "Hey Ryder." Aspen smiled.

"Rachel what are you doing here?" Ryder asked with pure shock.

"What who's . . ." I stared off.

"Wait, who the hell is Rachel?" Bree asked and stood up, confused.
