Harper's PoV
"Megan that's ridiculous, that is not why Brangelina split up." I said shaking my head amused as we walked down the corridor.
"How do you know he's not secretly an alien who now had to go back to his home planet?" She stated unpractically.
I rolled my eyes. "Any normal person would know that."
"Ah," She said accusingly "that's where you're wrong, I'm not normal."
I laughed patting her shoulder in fake sympathy. "Of course you aren't."
She frowned. "Why am I detecting a little bit of sarcasm in your voice?"
I shrugged effortlessly. "That's because there is."
She playfully narrowed her eyes as we reached her locker. "I'm going to ignore that and just pretend it didn't happen."
I nodded slightly. "Megan Bruce, you do exactly that then."
She gave a firm look before speaking. "So what's going on with you and Bree then?" Megan asked as she put books from her locker in her backpack.
I frowned and shrugged slightly. "I haven't spoken to her yet."
Megan raised a brow. "But her and Luke seem fine to me."
"That's because they are." I said resting against the locker and shrugging.
"Harp, don't tell me you haven't fixed this yet. Why haven't you made up with her?" She asked me cluelessly.
I fiddled with my figments avoiding the question. Megan closed her locker and grabbed my shoulders making me look at her. "Girl, don't avoid the question."
I sighed "I'm worried. What if she gets angry at me for trying to speak to her and then doesn't forgive me?"
Megan giggled and I raised my brows getting slightly irritated. "What's so funny?" I asked a frown on my face.
"You," She said aiming her index finger towards me "this is Bree we're talking about, she's so loveable. If you have a problem with her it's best to just talk to her about it, you know she's most likely to forgive you. That's just who Bree is."
I sighed, I knew she was right. Yeah I should apologise, no not for being with her brother but for not telling her all about it. "Okay, I'll try make a mends, but you can't hold my word against it. I might get too scared and back out."
Megan scoffed playfully "Harper Dixon, knowing you, you probably will."

. . . Aspen raised her hands. "Dude no need to worry I'm over the guy."
Shakira forced a smile onto her face. "I guess not then."
My eyes caught attention to Harper who walked right past us. She glanced over at us before continuing walking.
Awe, poor Harper.
"Why's she not coming over?" Bree asked us all, a confused expression taking over her features.
I gave her a look "Is it not obvious? She told Megan and I that you two had an argument."
Her eyes widened as she realised what I was talking about. "Oh, so you know?"
I nodded slowly. "Yeah."
Bree sighed "She's still upset about the argument? I'm over it."
Megan shrugged "It doesn't look like Harper knows that."
The bell rung through the school halls. The girls said bye to each other as they went to separate lessons.
Before Bree left I got her attention "You will speak to her won't you?" I asked.
She nodded reassuringly "I'll make sure Harper and I are okay again."
I smiled, relieved that my best friend would be okay again. "Thanks."

Harper's PoV
"Hey Harp."
I instantly stopped walking.
My eyes widened as Bree spoke to me. I turned around to make sure that she was talking to me.
Bree giggled slightly "Yes I'm speaking to you."
I instantly hugged her. I never wanted any of this to happen I never wanted to make her upset "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings and I tried calling you but you didn't answer. I thought about calling you on a blocked ID but that just sounded creepy and sad."
She smiled pulling out of the hug "Yeah really sad and creepy."
I sighed "Are we okay because I don't know what I would do without one of my best friends?" I don't know what I'd do if Bree didn't forgive me. She was a really important person in my life.
"We're fine, better than ever. I've just got one question." She said smirking.
"What's that?" I asked curiously.
"When's your first public date?" She asked excitedly.
I looked down at my shoes. Luke and I have talked about making it public but we've never found the perfect time. So us going on a public date wasn't on the cards yet. "He hasn't asked me out on one."
Her eyes widened "Well we're just gonna have to fix that then aren't we?"
She pulled on my hand dragging me down the hall and into the cafeteria. She carried on dragging me until we were at our table. I noticed Megan and Riley smiling at me and I smiled back, I knew they had something to do with Bree and I making up. "Luke, this poor innocent girl has been waiting." Bree started off.
Luke's eyes widened. "Bree what are you doing?" He asked quietly.
Bree waved him off "Oh no it's okay. I think it's surely about time everybody knew about you guys, Harper lead the way."
I sighed. This was it, after I did this everybody would know about Luke and I being together and there was no going back from that. I shakily stood onto the table getting ready to yell. "I like Luke Tomas and I don't care who knows."
Luke grinned up at me and then got on the table too. "I like Harper Dixon and I don't care who knows." He shouted and then placed his hand in mine.
Bree got onto the table and shouted. "Let's give it up for Larper." Everybody started chanting Larper. It felt amazing to be here with Luke officially together.
Without a warning, Luke grabbed my face and joined his lips with mine. As usual my arms went around his neck. It's happening, it's actually happening, everybody knows about Luke and I.
We were free for people to judge and critic but truthfully I didn't care all I really cared about was Luke and us two being publicly together.
"Okay I've seen that once before, never again." Bree said with a grossed-out tone lacing her voice. I pulled away from Luke and goofily grinned at him.
"I love you." He muttered.
"I love you too." I said in a tone similar to his.
Ah, my Prince Charming at last.
