Harper's PoV
"And that's how we got together." I said standing up and stretching out my legs.
Maya had a massive grin plastered on her face. "You two are so in love. I definitely want to meet him."
The doorbell went off ringing through the whole house. I smirked "You might not have to wait that long."
Her eyes brightened as we both made our way to the door. I swung it open to reveal Luke. "Hey." I said gesturing for him to come in.
He did so, but not before pecking me on the cheek. I felt the same tingles there, like there was every time. "Hey gorgeous."
"Awe thanks." I cooed.
He looked up at me "Um, I was talking to the kid but you're okay too I guess."
I lightly smacked his arm and he deeply chucked and grabbed my waist "Relax babe, of course I was talking to you."
"Hey Luke, it's nice to meet you." Maya said as if amazed by his presence.
Luke turned to her and bent down a little so they were eye level "Nice to meet you too Maya."
She grinned "Harper told me how you two met, you guys seem so into each other. I'm surprised you ain't married yet."
A thoughtful expression washed over Luke's face. He grinned and turned to me. "What?" I questioned but he didn't answer. He just bent down on one knee. My eyes widened "Luke, what are you doing?"
He smirked "Harper Dixon, will you marry me . . . someday?"
I laughed at his antics. "Of course I'll marry you . . . someday."
He got back up and dusted off his knee caps. "I'll hold you to that."
I mimicked a teasing tone whilst I spoke "Oh I hope you do."
"So," He said clapping his hands together ",who wants ice cream?"
"Oh me." Maya exclaimed excitedly.
"Well let's go then." He said grabbing her hand.
All three of us walked out the door on the way to get some frozen goodness.

"Harper, you've got some ice cream on you lip." Luke said using his thumb to wipe it away.
I grinned up at him "Thanks."
He shrugged a grin of his own appearing on his lips "No problem."
"Awe, you two are just so cute." Maya cooed, bringing her hands to her chest in a loving way.
We both just stared at her wondering how a 11 year old girl could be so invested in our relationship. A frown grew onto my face as my eyes caught onto a small blonde staring intently at Luke. I cleared my throat grabbing Luke's attention "Um Luke, there's a girl staring at you."
He glanced to the girl batting her eyelashes at him and smirked "Ooh, I think somebody's getting jealous."
I rolled my eyes abs crooked my arms over my chest "I'm not jealous."
He shrugged casually "Fine, then you wouldn't mind me going over there and talking to her, but only as friends."
I stared at him trying to work our what he was trying to do. I sighed "Fine, go ahead, like you said friends."
