Harper's PoV (ShortChapter)
"Harper get the door for me please, I'm washing my hair." My mother yelled from upstairs.
I paused the movie and groaned as I got out of my comfortable place in the sofa to go and answer the door.
My slippers scraped against the floor boards as I went to get the door. My mouth suddenly dropped open as I saw who was stood there. "Dad?"
He smiled bright at me "My little Harp, you've all grown up."
My eyes caught onto the red head stood behind him "Who's this?" I asked as I eyed her from top to bottom. She wore tight skinny jeans and a leopard print vest top which she paired with some black heels. She wore red lipstick that was smudged all over her lips. I looked at her ginger hair which was too over curled.
"This . . . " My dad said pushing her towards me into the house. " . . . This, is Susannah, my girlfriend."
I can't believe it. My father left my mother for this waste of space who is like 15 years younger than him. She couldn't be any older than 25. "She's your girlfriend." I asked disgusted.
My father frowned "Are you okay Harper?"
I forced out a smile "Never better."
My mother than came running down the stairs a towel wrapped around her head. Once she saw dad she eyed him cautiously "Oh, what are you doing here."
"I just wanted to see my daughter and maybe my son too." He suggested.
"Can I just say you look cuter than a daisy." My dad's girlfriend grinned. She sounded like she was from Texas or somewhere like that.
I nodded uninterested in her. "Okay."
She nodded before walking into the house "Uh, what are you doing?" I practically yelled, following after her.
"You have any chips?" She asked walking into the kitchen, now going through all the cabinets and draws. After finally finding a packet of chips she smiled victoriously "Found em'."
She frowned at them "Why are they so small?"
I gave her a confused look, that packet of chips are really big."You see where I come from these chips are pretty big." I said really slowly, almost sarcastically.
She scoffed, throwing her hand back in a dismissive way "Sorry sweetie-pie but everything is bigger in Texas."
I rolled my eyes, turning to look at my parents who were now in the kitchen as well. "Is this bitch serious?"

Luke's PoV
I played with the spoon in my cereal as I heard footsteps walk down the stairs.
"Hey." Bree smiled as she walked into the kitchen. I looked up from my cereal giving her a small smile in return. "Hi." I then went back to playing in my breakfast.
I hated when things were awkward around Bree and I. We could be angry towards each other, we could envy one another, but one thing that never, ever happened between us was that moment when you realise there's awkwardness.
"I'm sorry." Bree and I chorused.
Hold up.
"Wait? Why are you saying sorry?" I asked with a brow raised.
Bree sighed "Maybe I did over react a little and thinking about it now, I never really had a reason to be upset, especially since now . . . "
She stopped herself talking as if she was hiding something from me, but I don't really blame her for doing that.
I frowned "I'm sorry too . . . I know I should have told you about Harper and I."
"Just promise me one thing?" She asked me.
Me eyes widened "Anything." I said standing up.
"Promise me that you'll never forget about me." She said softly.
It was then that I realised that she wasn't upset about Harper and I being together, she was more upset at the thought of her loosing her brother.
I sighed and pulled her into a hug. "I could never forget about you. I know you'd always be there annoying the hell out of me, how on earth am I supposed to forget about you?" I teased.
She slapped his arm "Ha, ha very funny."
"And yeah I guess you never really did have a reason to be upset since you like Ryder." I mused.
Her eyes widened at my revelation "Um how did you . . . ?"
I smirked amusingly. Sometimes this girl forgets that I'm her twin. I can see right through her act. "Bree you must think I'm stupid."
She nodded in agreement "Yeah I do. Just don't tell anyone okay?"
"Yeah fine, and are we cool now?" I asked hopefully.
She smiled brightly "As ice."
And just like that I had the most important person back in my life.
My sister.

"You've spoken to her?" I asked slightly shocked.
He nodded and drank a bit from his smoothie "Yeah, her and I are fine now. She excepts us." He said grabbing my hand from the other side of the cafe table.
I hesitated for a moment before firmly nodding "Okay well that's good because now that Bree knows, I don't want to be hidden anymore."
His eyes widened in realization "So that means . . . "
I smiled knowingly "Yeah I want people to know about us."
He smiled at me with his warm eyes "I can't believe it, people are gonna know we're official."
"They're gonna know we're the real deal." I said biting my lip.
He nodded and leaned over, swiftly kissing me on the cheek "We're in it for keeps."
