Chapter 14

Thursday, August 22nd.

It's been three days since I last saw any of the boys. Mary stops by every day after school to give me my work and fill me in on drama, seeing as I haven't been in school this week. Well yesterday we got into an argument.

*Flashback*

"Dev!" Mary's voice boomed through the house.

"Dev I really need to talk to you." She said swinging open my door. "You know the new girl Tanya?" she asked. I thought for a second remembering her telling me their was a girl who moved here from California. I nodded signaling for her to continue.

"Well it turns ou she has a twin, Lottie." groaned Mary. "Well Lottie was flirting with Daniel and I may or may not have kissed Jai." she spat. I thought for a second, I understood how she felt being torn between two people that you love. But still, Skip is my brother.

"The kiss meant nothing, right?" I asked hopefully. She didn't answer just looked at her feet.

"It meant nothing, right?" I stated more than asked. She looked up tears in her eyes.

"It was the best kiss I have ever had." she sobbed. I sighed running my hands through my blonde hair.

"Have you told Daniel?" I asked putting my hand on my hips. She shook her head before looking down.

"You have to." I continued.

"I can't."

"Why not!?"

"I don't want to hurt him!"

"You hurt him already!"

"I can't Devion, I thought you'd understand! "

"I do Mary, but Daniel is my brother! you have to tell him or I will!"

"Do it and we are no longer friends!" she shouted, causing a silence to fill the room. I pondered for a second wondering if she meant it or not. She looked shock at what she said about to open her mouth and apologize but I stopped her.

" That's a risk I'm willing to take."

*End of Flashback*

Jai came barging into my room "Dev, want to go to Maccas?" he asked. I thought about it obviously wanting to talk to him about the kiss.

"What time is it anyways?" I asked. Jai pulled out his phone and showed me the time, as he did so I noticed his lock screen. It was a picture if me him and Mary at the beach. I smiled faintly before looking away.

"Let's go."

Later.........

"Daniel I really need to talk to you." I shouted running upstairs only to find him crying in his bed. I walked over and placed my hand on his back, and he turned his head so he was facing me.

"What happened.

"Mar-ry bro-oke up-p wit-th me." he stuttered out.

"I'm sorry."

"Do you know why?" he asked, more controlled this time. I slowly nodded my head. "Why didn't you tell me?" he sobbed.

"Daniel that's what I was coming to talk to you about. I just found out." he sniffles once more before curling up into my lap. I sighed and rubbed his back.

"You'll be okay Skip."

"I know it just hurts so bad."

"Well I guess love life for the Sahyounie's isn't going so great." I sighed causing him to giggle a bit.

"Don't worry Dev it will change soon."

'Hopefully, real soon'

A/N I'm sorry for the late update but this chapter had been such a hassle I must have accidentally deleted it like 10 times. Also Jade Ramsey plays Lottie, and Nikita Ramsey plays Tanya.
