Chapter 22

Devion's P.O.V

October 16th

I sat curled up in Luke's bed crying my eyes out. I didn't even get to say good bye. The last thing I said to her was that I was going to L.A. I told her I'd rather be with my brother and his friends then her. Ouch. Im a terrible daughter and now she's dead and I can't do anything about it.

"Babe." Luke said walking into his room. I looked up as he climbed into the bed with me and held me. "It will be okay I promise." I sobbed into his chest probably ruining his shirt. "I know I just feel bad for Tara and Daniel. I just wish she knew how much I loved her."

"She did Devvy, she knew you loved her." I shook my head. "No she didn't she thought I hated her, I mean the last thing I did was run away." I sobbed clutching tighter on to my amazing boyfriend.

"Devion, listen to me." he said holding onto my hands well pressing me even closer to his chest. "She knew how much you loved her. You're her daughter and she knew that even though you came to L.A you still loved her." he soothed. I nodded but still crying before kissing his cheek. We then just sat there in a comfortable silence the occasional sniffle coming from me but other than that there was no sound. Luke just played with our intwined fingers well holding me close.

A few minutes later there was a knock at our door. After Luke said come in the door opened to reveal a puffy eyed Daniel. "We have some visitors." he smiled a bit before heading back to the kitchen. Luke and I looked at eachother confused before getting up and heading to the front door. As Daniel moved to reveal the person behind him, I jumped and practically tackled the poor girls. "Lottie and Tan!" I cheered, being the happiest I had been in a long time. "We're so sorry to hear about your mum." Tan softened rubbing my arm. "Thanks but it's not yo-" I was cut off by a giggle. I turned around to see Beau hiding a girl behind his back. I shot him a look before he moved and revealed the person I needed most. Tara.

Once we saw eachother no one else mattered. We embraced eachother in the tightest hug before running off to Beau's room (where she was staying) and started catching up and consoling eachother. "So you and Beau, huh?" I chuckled. "Yes but no one knows besides you and us obviously." she smiled. I laughed before a silence came upon us neither of us wanting to bring up the thing that had been weighing both of us down.

A few minutes ago Daniel came into Beau's room and took Tara and I out to the living room to the rest of the group. Once we were out there it turned into a giant dance party, music blaring. Jai, Beau, myself, Luke and Tar all jumping on the couch. Luke and Beau hopped down leaving Tara,Jai and I.

Tara started twerking, mainly because she loves Miley and we were playing her new album. I laughed as Jai knocked me down landing on my feet. "JAI IS ON MY FEET, I REPEAT JAI IS LITERALLY ON MY FEET!!" everyone laughs as Mary bends down and helps him up. "Jai bud you gotta learn to stay off people's feet. " Mary sighed."I'm sorry it's just so addicting." he fake cried.

I definitely wasn't over mum's death but my friends are doing a good job at making me smile. I'm happy I have them with me, especially now.

"Do you ever wonder if we will get married?" Luke asked quietly as we lied snuggled into eachother on his bed neither of us being able to fall asleep.

"Yeah, Luke I honestly think we will one day."

"Then we will get a baby and have a fanily. And then one day when we're old and grey rocking on our porch I look at you and think to myself. 'How did I get so lucky.' before squeezing your hand."

"Then I will squeeze back and we'll both kiss one more time before we walk into the bright light hand in hand." I sigh fighting back the tears.

"I love you babe, and I hope you know how much." he cooed kissing my cheek before pulling me closer into him as we continued to talk about our future.

Despite the fact that we had lost mum, I honestly couldn't be happier.

"Did you hear that?" asked Luke, I shook my head and he shushed me and told me to listen. I laughed as I heared what he was talking about. Someone was doing the deed.

The Next Morning.......

"Are you ready?" I asked Tan. She nodded before I turned back to the boys. Luke and I woke up early and got up Jai, Tanya, Mary, and James. I stood at the counter inbetween the twins as Tanya finished setting everything up.

"James we're ready." Luke said signalling James to go find Lottie and Daniel well Mary went to find Tara and Beau.

As the four love birds sat down at the counter Tara eyes widened and she glared at me knowing exactly what I was planning on doing.

"Nnow do you understand all the forms of birth control?" asked Jai, trying not to laugh.

"Yes." the four love birds chorused.

"I still don't get why we had to sit through this." groaned Beau. "Basicalky because Daniel and Lottie had sex last night and your a new couple." James butted in.

"You told them!" Tara gasped looking at me. "I didn't have to, it's plainly obvious you two are dating." I chuckled.

"Is not!" they both shouted.

"Is so!" Luke and I shouted like 5 year olds causing everyone to laugh.

"How do you know we had sex?!?" Lottie shouted.

"Well we heard moaning and just assumed it was you two, I mean that sexual tension..."Jai chuckled trailing off.

A/N I know sorry it ends weirdly it's just I'm getting writers block. Also the last part is in there because we learned about it in health class and I had nothing else to write about.
