Chapter 23

Devion's P.O.V

3 months later......

Monday, January 13th

"Fuck this." I groan slamming my laptop shut. I have been taking my classes from Penola online. I groaned placing my laptop on Luke's pillow before lying down and thinking about everything that has happened in the past two months.

I moved to L.A, mum passed away, Tara came back into my life, we all went back to Melbourne for mum's funeral and service, everyone came to L.A for November and filmed the thanksgiving video, then Gina and the rest of everyone's family went back to Melbourne.

Wow.

Everyone has kind of come to terms with mums death, no one is really depressed about it anymore. I mean we all still miss her, we have just embraced it and went on with our lives.

"Dev." Luke said poking his head into our room snapping me out of my thoughts. "Did you finish your school work yet?" he asked. I looked at the clock and groaned. 1 fucking p.m, I have an hour left so that means I have to do my chemistry and German. Fuck.

"No." I whined like a little kid. "C'mon Devy you have like two subjects left. What are you supposed to be working on?" he asked.

"Chemistry." I stated dramatically as I rolled over and flipped onto a pillow. He chuckled before responding. "What is Tara and Mary working on?"

"Tara has a break and Mar is doing her I.C.T work." I sighed. He rolled his eyes before plopping down next to me and opening the computer on his pillow beginning to read my questions out loud. "I was always shit at Chemistry." he chuckled. "Well I'm sure we can figure it out together." I smiled rolling onto my side and lying next to him. "I'm sure we can too." he grinned before pecking my lips.

"I HATE YOOOOOUUUU." Tara whined flipping her top half off the coach away from her laptop. I laughed before going to the breakfast bar where Mary sat at her computer typing away. I grinned knowing I was actually the first one done for once. After Luke and I finished my Chem, I got started in my German and flew through it.

"And done." Mary smiled shutting her laptop as we both turned our gaze to Tara who was whining and groaning as she hung herself off the couch. "Are you okay?" asked Mary. Tara turned her head to look at us. "No it's fucking Trig, ofcourse I'm not okay." I laughed at my sister before Beau joined us down stairs sending a quizzical look to Tara. "Trig?" he asked. She nodded before sitting up and getting back to work.

"Hey at least you only have until December 22nd." Beau stated sitting next to me at the breakfast bar. "Yeah I guess your right, I mean finals start tomorrow everything now is just review." I sighed.

"Right, to bad we won't be graduating with everyone else." sighed Mary leaning forward. I frowned and nodded, she was right we wouldn't be in Australia to graduate with our class we were here and we had to have our diplomas mailed to us. Well sacrifices have to be made I guess.

"JAMES STOP!!!" giggled an American accent. "No!" laughed his Australian accent as he ran down the stairs after her. "James!!" she gasped as he picked her up and began to tickle her.

"Stop flirting." Jai muttered angrily as he glared at Tanya and James, entering the kicthen. Their faces fell as they pulled away from eacother and walked to separate sides of the room. I looked at James who was trying to make eye contact with Tanya, I then looked to Tan who was looking down at her hands up to James and then flicking her gaze to Jai.

"Jai can I have some bestfriend time?" I asked grabbing his wrist and pulling him down the hall to his room and shutting the door. "What is going on?" I demanded crossing my arms.

"I like Tan." he sighed. My jaw dropped. "What about Mary?"

"Well I mean, we're both so shy and I'm just scared that it would never happen. But Tan is so outgoing that I think I have more of a chance, even though I still have feelings for Mar." I sighed looking at my best friend. "Okay let's play a game." I say sitting on his bed. "Dev do you really think this is the time to play a ga-" I cut him off by pulling him down next to me. "Just shut the hell up and trust me."

"Pie or Cake?" I began.

"Cake."

"Coke or Pepsi?"

"Coke."

"Vans or Converse."

"Converse."

"Elvis or Chris Brown?"

"Elvis."

"Tanya or Mary?"

A/N I know it's short and it's a cliff hanger. But I was being a procrainator and wrote this all today.

I'm sorry I promise next weeks chapter will be better this one is more of a filler.
