A hard smack from a pillow sent Jasmine jolting awake and falling off her bed. She looked up to see Brooke standing over her with Tabitha on her shoulder, already dressed for the day with a grin on her face and a fluffy pink pillow in her hands.

"Wakey there's no bakey! Come on Jazz! Up and at 'em! First we have to head down to the cafeteria for breakfast of course, then we have to head down to Luz's shop and get you geared up, then I have to introduce you to Vivian, then you have to have your abilities tested in the training room..."

Jasmine groaned into the floor as Brooke started listing all the things they had to accomplish in that one day. When she realized Jasmine stopped listening, Brooke smacked her with the pillow again. That girl packed a truckload of punch for someone her size.

"Get up off the floor Jazz! And go have a shower, your face is like, totally covered in drool and your hair looks like you just survived a tornado. Thank goodness your hygiene supply pack arrived," said Brooke as she grabbed Jasmine by her leg and started dragging her to the bathroom.

"Fine, I'll get up! Sheesh!" groaned Jasmine as she tugged her foot away and slowly got to her feet, still feeling sleepy.

Brooke grinned and chucked pile of clothes at her face followed by a pair of trainers and pointed to the bathroom. Jasmine groaned and rubbed her sore nose and glared at her before walking in.

When Jasmine had finished her morning routine, she got changed into the grey sweatpants and black t-shirt that Brooke had thrown at her. She exited the bathroom still tying the laces of her trainers and found Brooke sitting on her bed. She was scrolling through her phone and petting Tabitha with her bare foot while taking swigs from a glass bottle containing a strange looking blue liquid.

"Oh goody, you finally finished. We must hurry now before all the good stuff's gone. Grab Tabitha, leave your bag and let's go." Said Brooke as she took one final sip and set the bottle down on the leather trunk between the two beds.

In a blink of an eye, Brooke was standing at the door with her black sneakers on and a white backpack on her back. Jasmine wanted so badly to ask how in the world she did that but decided against it and followed her out. Once again she found herself struggling to keep up with Brooke's fast pace through the long corridors and stairs.

Even though she hadn't eaten in a while now, Jasmine was not exactly excited to visit the cafeteria. It was a noisy and crowded space, to say the least. Large rectangular benches where placed orderly around the room. Each bench was a cosseted huddle of people, most of which were dressed in a blue uniform, all raising their voices to be heard over the ruckus. The smell of smoke and metal somewhat overpowered the smell of the food that was being served. Jasmine followed Brooke closely, not wanting to get lost in the crowd of people. Glancing at a corner of the room she noticed the wall was moving. On closer inspection it turned out to be a creature similar to the she had encountered in the forest except this one had grey stone for skin. It locked eyes with her for a moment before vanishing into thin air.

"Food!" screamed Brooke, quickly snapping Jasmine out of her daze.

She grabbed Jasmine by her hand and ran to the short queue that had formed.

Jasmine left the serving counters with a bowl of cereal for herself and some fruit for Tabitha whilst Brooke had her tray overflowing with an immeasurable amount of different foods. She followed Brooke to a bench where Eluard, Gabriel, Aaliyah and Castiel were seated. Castiel had his face buried in a book, seemingly oblivious to the chatter around him. The others waved and smiled at the two of them while Castiel grunted to show he at least acknowledged their presence.
