Jasmine hit the hard stone floor as she was rudely shoved into a prison cell. The effects of the dart had worn off by the time she was being dragged to the dungeons to an extent that she was awake and aware but her limbs were still terribly numb. She hit the ground with a grunt and turned around just in time to see the cell door slam shut.

"Friggin' brutes," she mumbled as she rubbed her sore arms, "Did their fathers ever teach them how to treat a lady?!"

"They did, bot not right way," said a voice with a thick accent.

Jasmine knew that voice.

She turned to the left where she saw Nurse Brenda standing in the other corner of the cell.

"Nurse Brenda? What are you doing here?" asked Jasmine.

"You see, I want to sedate patient as a prep for the surgery. Good thing, no?Now bad thing, I give patient wrong injection so patient start having the seizure and I call in the doctors to help. But, after surgery they come to my room and search. They lifted floorboard and find the money which I collect from my dealings and the tell me to put on the shoes and go. Now I is here."

Jasmine was shocked.

"You sell drugs?!"

Brenda did not look fazed in the slightest.

"Yes. What can I say? I need the money to feed sister Rhonda and her ten cat," she replied with a shrug.

Jasmine rest her back against the cold concrete wall and looked up at the ceiling trying to think of a good plan. After a moment of silence Nurse Brenda pulled out a small metal flask from her pocket.

"You ar' looking very stressed. Want some?" she offered, shaking the flask in her hand.

Jasmine grimanced.

"No thank you, I don't drink alcohol."

Brenda just rolled her and shrugged before taking a large swing from the flask.

'I need to get out of here,' though Jasmine bringing her knees up to her chest.

She buried her head in her folded arms and tried by all means not to think about the girl in the hallway. She was on the verge of tears when a sudden creak of the main dungeon door grabbed both their attention. Lifting her head up slowly, hoping it wasn't another elite or guard, her eyes locked with a pair of ocean blue ones.

It was Eluard.

Ignoring the slight numbness in her feet and the pain in her arms she hurriedly pushed off the wall and rushed to the cell bars.

"Jasmine don't touch the-" started Eluard, reaching out to stop her.

Too late.

The minute she placed her hands on the bars they glowed a bright white.

"-bars" breathed Eluard.

A great shock that felt like lightning flowing through her every cell threw her right back to the wall. She hit the concrete with such great force that she was sure her spine had split in half. Her every pore, her every hair, felt like they were set ablaze. Tears ran down her face as a loud scream slipped passed her lips and echoed around the partially empty dungeons. Her palms were marked by bright scarlet indentations which even extended down her wrists which were smoking as if having been burnt in a fire. Her ears were ringing but she was sure she heard Eluard yelling something at the guards.

Even though Brenda was a 'nurse' she stood in her side of the cell staring at Jasmine while she screamed and cried on the floor (Eluard could have sworn she had seen a smile playing on her lips.)
