The ride back to the compound was silent, nobody dared say a word. Jasmine sat, propped up against the side of the van, head in her hands wondering what she had just done. She could have cost everybody their lives.

When they had arrived at the Corps, soldiers armed with guns stood by the gate, bright lights focused on them. Coirwen was standing in the center of it all.

"Well fuck," she heard Aaliyah mutter.

She had done all she could do for the soldiers who needed immediate treatment, Eluard included and she looked extremely exhausted. If it wasn't for her Eluard probably wouldn't have survived the ride back.

Andrew had stepped out first, gesturing for the rest of them to remain in the vehicles. He talked with Coirwen for a little bit before gesturing for them to exit the trucks. He and the other soldiers he had come with drove off, leaving them to face the wrath of Coirwen on their own.

"All of you, my office, now," he said, voice full of rage and agitation.

"But sir, the hostages-"started Aaliyah.

"Well get them to the bloody medical wing then!" he yelled causing almost all of them to flinch at his harsh tone, "And you all better be in my office by the time I get there or your situation will be much worse!" he called after their retreating forms.

Jasmine desperately wanted to stay with Eluard in the hospital wing until he woke up but that just wasn't going to happen. Rescuing him was all she could do, waiting with him would have been extra.

When they arrived in Coirwen's office, Roxanne, Castiel and Cam were already there waiting for them.

"He's going to punish everybody who was involved," said Cam with a shake of his head.

The room was silent until Coirwen walked through the door, slamming it shut behind him.

"You defied my direct orders! All of you!" he shouted, looking at everybody in the room, "Do you know how dangerous that could have been! Do you understand the magnitude of this-"

"We did it because we are sick and tired of the Aerinians taking from us like we are some defenseless infants," interrupted Roxanne.

"Excuse you?" said Coirwen, glaring at her.

Roxanne returned the glare, her fists balled at her sides.

"If you honestly think bargaining was going to bring them back alive and well then you're fucking dreaming old man. It didn't work when they sieged Freybank and it will certainly not work now!"

"H-he said they're coming," said Jasmine, voice slightly above a whisper.

"Who said who's coming?" asked Castiel.

Everyone turned to look at her including Coirwen who's furious stare was making her feel uncomfortable.

"The Flame Father," she said, suddenly finding interest in her shoes, "He said to tell you all that they're coming. That he'll show no mercy..."

The room was filled with gasps, some cussing under their breath, some openly stating their disbelief. But Coirwen did none of that, he laughed. Jasmine looked up at him, wondering what was so funny.

"You honestly think I don't know about your relationship with him, Miss Michaels," he said, walking closer to her.

Jasmine stood tall, trying not to show any nervousness even though that was the most prominent emotion in her head. Everyone in the room watched in awe and silence, wondering what was happening.

"I knew you looked familiar. Then I actually had a look at your file and saw that you put your father's name down as Alfred Paige, brushed it of as a maybe-it's-a-common-name-where-she-comes-from type thing. But hardly anybody apart from the military know what the Flame Father's real name besides... his former family-"
