It's been about three months since Jasmine's initiation and since then she became a full-fledged elite member of the Hellfire Corps.

She trained daily but usually by herself unless one of the others decided to join her. Just like everyone else she received decent amounts of assignments and paperwork, most of which had due dates. She only ever missed a due date once and Coirwen put her on chef duty for a whole week.

No murders took place in the Corps since that of Joanne Abbot and Daniel Bass but everyone was still on high alert.

Jasmine was sitting at a table in the library with Gabriel who was helping her finish drafting up a particularly tricky report. Tabitha was walking around on the desk sniffing random objects when Brooke ran in, startling everybody.

"Have any of you seen my purse anywhere?" she asked hurriedly, "You know, the black one with the sequins? It has a huge sum of money in it and now I can't find it?"

"You left it in my fridge a few nights ago, remember?" replied Gabriel.

"Why in your fridge?" asked Jasmine.

Weird things happened all the time in the Corps but she still had a hard time getting used to it all.

"She kicked open the door to my room at 3am and tossed her purse into my refrigerator, I didn't ask any questions," defended Gabriel.

"Must have been drunk," murmured Brooke.

"Are you even old enough to drink let alone buy alcohol?" asked Jasmine, arms crossed like an angry parent.

"Fake ID's bitch!" said Gabriel when they both took out their ID's together and posed.

Jasmine rolled her eyes.

"Hey Gabby, you still up for this afternoon?!" asked Brooke.

"What's happening this afternoon?" inquired Jasmine, putting her pen down.

"Oh, we planned a huge prank for Roxanne that we've staged for exactly one o'clock!" replied Gabriel excitedly drumming on the table, "It's going to be awesome!"

"Jasmine you should totally do this with us!" said Brooke.

"I have a shooting contest with Eluard in the training room at around two so I guess I can. But if it goes wrong and Roxanne attempts to skin us all, you two are on your own."

"Deal but if we're going to show you what we're doing we'll have to go now. You can finish your draft later," said Gabriel as he got up.

"Sure."

As soon as Brooke came back from getting her purse out of Gabriel's fridge, Jasmine, with Tabitha riding in her pocket, walked with the two of them into the area of the compound where the watchtower stood. Jasmine didn't really know what they were going to do so she wasn't sure if she should have been nervous, Brooke walked normally like nothing was going on whilst Gabriel had a hard time trying not to look suspicious.

Tabitha poked Jasmine's hand with her nose and a moment later every hair and every pore on Jasmine's skin felt like it were engulfed in flames. She stopped walking and hunched over, a powerful sensation shooting through her head.

"Jasmine, what's wrong?" asked Brooke worriedly.

But she couldn't hear them.

Two people walking down a corridor. One male, one female... they're talking together, laughing. They are heading for the elevator...The female turns the other direction... she's going to get something. The male yelps and collapses to the floor. The female screams and rushes to him... a figure dressed in all black and red combat boots jumps down from the ceiling... the female tries to fight her off to get to her companion and help him... the vision becomes less blurry and she is able to make out one face. It is Aaliyah.
