The original game in the hit series, starring a small, pink ball with hands and feet, Kirby's Dreamland certainly is a monument to many fans of Kirby's. But not many people have actually played it, since few people actually own any form of GameBoy™. So here is my first review, Kirby's Dreamland.
For it's "out of ten" score, I'd say I give it about a 7.5 out of 10. The reason for this is that it has only four or five power ups-- not even any copy abilities. No, the only abilities in Kirby's Dreamland are limited-use items found at specific parts of the game. Only Mic, Superspicy Curry, Mint Leaf, and Bomb are found in this game. Other than these rare abilities, you must rely solely on inhaling enemies and spitting them out for defense.
Another reason I'm only giving it 7.5/10 is the fact that it is extremely short. By this I mean there are only five levels. Also I would like to add that, on any platform you use other than the original GameBoy™ or GameBoy Color™, The mechanics are very confusing.
However, this doesn't mean that it has no good points. The game itself is very fun, and for the time it came out, it is extremely well made. And therefore, I would like to conclude this first review. Thanks for reading!
