Okay, so I didn't actually plan on doing this game for my sixth review. But I wanted to do something I didn't have a high opinion of, so I chose this.
Rayman has always been weird to me. The original series has little to no recognition, only the Rabbids do, and this game I feel might be a decent example why. If I'm being 100% honest, I give this game a good 4/10, maybe a 4.5.

This is a kinda strange game. The best comparison I can draw to this is I guess is a beat em' up? But I mean, it's got some stuff going for it, I suppose. It's got a decent array of abilities, just the way they choose to represent them is abnormal to say the least. It's got this bubblegum ability that you can spit gum to help you take down enemies, cover obstacles, and stop physical projectiles (for that location's boss fight), which is cool and all, but the costume is weird. It's a black tank top with a skull, spiky shoes, spiky black hair, and an agitated expression. For the strong jump ability, it's a backwards hat, sunglasses, white sleeveless shirt, sneakers, and a big gold chain. They all just don't make much sense. There's one that you can use to distract the Rabbids with a carrot, and the costume is a grandma. It's all just super unusual.

The plot is a little out there as well. Rayman escapes, you have to go and find his hands (What?) and then the rest of the game you run around, fighting the same Rabbid at the end of each level world, saving these little fairies from cages, and each world has this unexplained race track level.

So, in short, the game is incredibly strange, the boss fights give you no instructions on what to do to beat them, and it all just kinda feels like one massive drug trip. But hey, I guess it could be worse?
