Sienna's P.O.V
He'd finally admitted it. The man who abandoned me had finally come to realize who I truly was, and what that actually implied.

And, for the first time in my life, I was speechless. Completely paralyzed; unable to move or react. So, as I usually did, I put on the gritty and tough mask that hid any dangerous feeling from the world. As the years went by, that mask got gradually firmer, taking any recognizable spark of emotion away, and making it inevitably surreptitious before the others.

Except before him. And that was what scared me the most.

I sensed as if it had been ages since he'd last spoken, though it had only been some seconds.

It is fearsome sometimes, how so many mixed and dangerous feelings can invade you in a second.

I gathered all my strength and courage not to even glance at Jack and hold his gaze as I carefully chose my next words.

"Which was the real..." but the sentence died in my lips when a loud thump echoed forcefully through the hold, shaking everything up and making the wooden floor tremble under our feet.

A dark figure dressed in green burst into the obscure room as many nearby –rum, I assumed– barrels fell down and rolled across the floor.

A mischievous, knowing grin slowly crept into my face.

"You!" Hook growled furiously turning around to him and drawing his sword.

"Me!" Pan yelled back with amusement, shooting me a fleeting glance.

He arched an eyebrow at the sight of the ropes around me. His intense, green eyes met mine and everything around me froze for a brief second, as a broad, genuine smile grew wider on his face.

The next thing I knew, I was lying somewhere on the fine, cold sand of the beach.

Jack's P.O.V
When my spinning head realized that I wasn't tied up in the Jolly Roger's hold anymore, but on the hair-raising shore of the island, I was truly and suspiciously bewildered by the fact that Pan had taken me away with him and Sienna.

I watched her slightly unconscious figure. She was beautiful, her resting body and the fairly pale skin of her cheeks grazed the white sand gracefully, almost peacefully... just like the first time I saw her.

"She almost looks harmless when she's sleeping, doesn't she?" Pan's irritant voice spoke suddenly.

He was standing some feet away, his arms crossed over his chest. I gazed at him dubiously.

"Why did you save us?" I asked narrowing my eyes.

"She's a Lost One," he merely responded, making me burn me with every single word. "And, may I say, one of the best actually."

"No, I did mean us." I replied. "Both."

He remained silent, watching me in a blank stare. "You love her, don't you?" he said out of the blue, absolutely taking me by surprise and leaving me speechless. My eyes slightly widened in fear. "I've seen how you look at her... and it's not just a fraternal love."

In the depths of my mind, I was vainly struggling to find the appropriate words.

A low and quiet moan interrupted me before I could say anything. "What happened...?" Sienna asked with a frown of confusion, slightly lifting her head.

I looked up to where Pan was, only to find it empty. He was gone.

I scooted over closer to her and helped her up, wrapping my arms around her petite figure; the one that I had seen grow up.

I caressed her hair lightly. "I'm sorry that Pan took us away from the Jolly Roger before you could answer Hook." I mumbled, my lips grazing her forehead subtly.

She let out a small, yet peaceful and caring smile. "It doesn't matter. Now that he knows the truth, he'll come back." she claimed calmly.

My eyes widened slightly in surprise. She was absolutely serene and impassive, and no trace of the wild fire that Pan loved was shown. We stayed there for some seconds, enjoying the comfortable silence and the mysterious view of the murky sea.

"Jack," she said suddenly. "You do know I love you, right?"

My face lit up at those words and my heart filled with all the hope I'd been slowly loosing during all my life. Hoarsely and barely audible, I asked expectantly, "Do you?"

Her blue eyes met mine looking up. "Of course I do" she stated burying her face on my chest comfortably and I tightened my hold around her.

That was when I realized that, hurtfully, she meant nothing more but the way she'd always seen me; as a loyal friend, as an elder brother.

And that also was when all hope left me again.
