Pan's P.O.V
I stared at Felix, expectant."What are you waiting for? Lock the boy up." I ordered.
Felix nodded firmly. He held an iron grip on Thomas' arms, guiding him from behind his back.
"Walk." Felix told him harshly.
"I'd actually be quite grateful if you had the kindness to release me." Thomas objected suddenly, not facing Felix, but me. "All in all, I believe I've done no wrong."
I looked at him with a mixture of intrigue, amusement and irritation.
"You mask the defiance behind your words pretty well, Thomas." I looked at him dead in the eye, sensing his lack of comfort, and he began to squirm under Felix's grip. "No wonder why Sienna got acquainted with you so easily."
Thomas held my gaze, his chin up and a spark of resistance in his eyes.
"Nevertheless, you will soon learn that trying to deceive me in any way will result in nothing but reprisal." I threatened, narrowing my eyes at him.
Thomas remained completely silent, bowing his head. I could tell he was not afraid; he had expected my response, he knew me and my intentions, he could foresee my actions.
Before they both disappeared behind the vegetation of the woods, though, Felix turned one last time.
"Beside the other?" he questioned with one of his knowing smirks.
"Beside the other." I settled, returning it.
Sienna's P.O.V
A rounded, glistening bubble of water floated before my eyes, obeying every single order my bare hands gave.Of course I knew he was coming, but what could I have done to stop him?
After awaking beside the unlit campfire that morning, the events of the previous night were the first thing to come to my mind. Finding my muscles sore and my face filthy with ash, I headed for the lagoon to clear my face up, as well as my thoughts. The conversation with Pan didn't seem to leave my mind, making me try to find an excuse for my cowardly behavior.
I don't trust my magic enough to face him, and I couldn't fight all the Lost Boys on my own.
With a swift and harsh movement of my wrist, the flying bubble of water made sudden contact with a nearby stone, bursting into a small splash.
I had been so foolish to believe Thomas and I could stand against Pan alone.
"Feeling a bit down, are we, dearie?" a giggling voice asked behind me.
I searched his reflection on the crystal waters of the lagoon, though I was in no need to; I could have recognized that voice anywhere.
"Rumplestiltskin," I said, almost sounding bored. "Or, at least, his vision."
He gave me an incredibly disgusting, rotten-teethed smile.
"I thought our first and last encounter might have shown you I hold no esteem towards you," I said sharply. "So what would you possibly want now?"
"Oh, I only wish to talk, dearie." he snickered. "I know Pan has taken your friend, and I am here to offer my help."
I stared at him warily.
"Why would you want to help me?" I asked, emphasizing the last word.
"I was actually thinking of a barter." he specified. "I will tell you where your friend is kept and, in exchange, you shall provide me with..." he seemed to look for the appropriate word. "Information."
I shot him a suspicious look.
"I know this island fairly well and, taking into account I was locked up in those cages long ago, it shouldn't be difficult for me to find Thomas." I replied disdainfully.
"Ah, but Pan ensured to take the lad to a much more hidden place this time." Rumplestiltskin giggled. "Believe me, young witch."
I narrowed my eyes at the name he gave me so lightly.
"And what kind of information concerning me might you care about?" I asked, irritated.
"That is for me to know, and me alone." he answered, a sly grin laced to his words.
I considered the offer for some seconds, analyzing the situation and its possible solutions. One thing was for sure: Pan wouldn't let Thomas out of the cages unless he agreed to join the Lost Boys and, even though I had barely had the opportunity to get to know him, Thomas looked like a stubborn one. It wouldn't be long until he would begin to starve. And the alternative appeared to be even more horrific in my mind; no, Thomas wouldn't become a Lost Boy if I could prevent it. All in all, I was only able to think of a single way out.
I will not leave him at Pan's hands.
"Agreed." I stated, my tone firm and unfriendly.
In contrast, Rumplestiltskin let out one of his childlike, high-pitched giggles, clapping his hands while celebrating it.
"But that doesn't mean I trust you, crocodile." I said bitterly after watching his stupid behavior.
"You really take after your father, don't you, dearie?"
My head turned to him brusquely.
"You know my father?" I questioned in a rather harsh tone.
"Indeed, I do," the crocodile giggled, waving his hands playfully. "Do not ask more questions now, Sienna. I am the one to be getting answers..."
He offered me another broad grin of his, my confidence fading inexplicably.
"Yet everything at the right time." Rumplestiltskin concluded. "Now we shall go encounter your friend, young witch."
There was something about that word, something that made me feel scarily powerful. Undeniably, I was falling for the dark appeal of magic, perhaps not consciously at all. And maybe, that was why I hadn't rejected the name after all.
I set off to the jungle, following in a crocodile's footsteps.
