"Der, really? This isn't fair. Stop changing the color," Stiles whines, flipping his cards over so Derek couldn't see them.

Derek smirks and announces, "I choose red."

"Go fish," Stiles mutters as he hits the Uno button on the machine and nothing is spit out. Stiles decided to they should play Uno Attack to switch it up.

"Let's see," Derek says out loud, chuffling through his cards. "Skip you," places a red skip, "back to me," places a red reverse, "and a two. By the way, uno."

"I think you cheat during this game. That's the only way you win this," Stiles says though he knows there's no way to cheat at Uno. Stiles hits the button and two cards are spit out.  They're a blue seven and a plus four. Stiles grins victoriously. "Guess what, buttercup?" Stiles places the card down. "Hit it four times and I choose blue."

Derek looks angry at this point and glares at Stiles, hitting the button. The first time it just makes a noise, along with the second and third but the fourth time the machine spits out what looks to be half the deck.

"You're joking!" Derek yells, staring at the floor where all the cards are currently lying. Stiles laughs, the heat of the fireplace warming up his skin. Derek glares at Stiles again before glaring at the tiny machine. "Why does it spit out so many?"

"It's not supposed to but these things never work as they should," Stiles replies, looking down at his cards and places down the blue seven.

"You know what? I'm done with this game," Derek says angrily, tossing his cards into the fire where they curl up and burn to ashes.

Stiles looks between the fire and Derek. "Hey bro, what's your deal? It's just a game! Now you have to buy me a new game."

"How about a pizza because I sure as hell am not buying a new one of those demons," Derek offers, standing up from his spot on the floor.

"The pack is going to kill you. They love that game," Stiles says and Derek shrugs before picking up his glass. Stiles follows him into the kitchen. "But, if you order that pizza tonight I'll tell them I lost the game."

"Deal," Derek answers, pulling out his phone. Stiles smiles and hops up onto the counter.

"Thank you, Der," Stiles says.

"Don't mention it and I'm serious."
