A road trip across the country was not a good idea. Especially with the whole pack jammed into one car. Derek wanted to yell at them every second to be quiet but Stiles would distract him by pointing out things on the sides of the roads.

"Look! That could be the tower what's her Disney face was locked in. Rapunzel," Stiles comments, pointing at a tower that had vines crawling up the sides.

"You didn't know what her name was?" Erica questions, leaning forward and causing Scott to shoot her a look of annoyance.

"Shut up Erica. I did not ask for your comments on my dear Disney reality," Stiles says casually. Erica rolls her eyes and sits back.

"Can we stop? I have to pee like really bad," Lydia says. "Jackson, seriously? You're going to spray me in the face with that junk."

"I told you not to spray that in here," Boyd says, snatching the Axe from Jackson and tossing it into Isaac's lap.

Jackson gasps. "What the hell you guys? I was using that."

"Well, not anymore," Isaac says. "Hmm, throw it out the window or hand it to Stiles?"

"Either way it doesn't sound like I'm getting it back any time soon," Jackson grumbles.

Stiles looks back and raises an eyebrow. "Just give me the darn thing. Jackson, you'll get it back when I think it's alright to use it."

Isaac hands it to Stiles and Stiles puts it in the glove box. Jackson crosses his arms and looks out the window. Stiles looks over at Derek who looks too concentrated on the road.

"Hey, Der. Why don't we sing a song? There's gotta be something on the radio," Stiles says.

"Whatever you want. As long as there's no fighting back there or you guys are so loud my vision gets messed up," Derek replies. Scott looks at him like he's crazy.

"That's not possible," he says.

"Scotty, yes it is. Your senses are closely related so when one is damaged, the others are changed too, good or bad," Stiles explains. "Besides, you've heard a really loud noise that's made your vision blur so don't give me that crap."

Scott sighs and Isaac snickers. Isaac pokes Scott's cheek, much to Erica's annoyance from being stuck in between the two.

"I don't understand why one of you idiots couldn't be in the middle," Erica grumbles, shoving Isaac's arm away.

"Anyways! On with the radio," Stiles says, turning on the radio and flipping through the stations. Every station plays a song Stiles doesn't like or doesn't know. "Well this is dumb."

"Wait!" Lydia exclaims, turning around and grabbing her bag from the trunk. She turns back around and puts her bag on her lap. "I made a great mixtape we can listen to."

"It's gonna suck," Jackson says, earning a punch on the arm from Lydia.

"I'm not afraid to punch you in the face. Remember that," Lydia says then takes the disc out of her bag and passes it to Erica who passes it to Stiles.

Stiles takes it out and puts it in the slot.

"Okay, Lydia's road trip mixtape take one," Stiles says as the first song starts playing.

"This is actually a bomb song," Erica says. "Hey, I was doing just fine before I met you."

"I drink too much and that's an issue," Isaac continues.

"But I'm okay. Hey, tell your friends it was nice to meet them," Scott sings.

"But I hope I never see them again," Stiles finishes.

Derek looks over at him and shakes his head with a smile on his face.

"You guys are such dorks," Derek says.

"Moved to the city in a broke down car," Stiles serenades Derek.

"And four years no call. Now you're looking pretty in a hotel bar," Lydia sings then screams, causing everyone to cover their ears besides Derek who would like nothing more than to put duct tape over her mouth. "There's a gas station! Stop!"

"My pleasure," Derek mutters. Stiles looks over at him and slyly takes the duct tape and stuffs it in the glove box next to Jackson's Axe.
