AN: Since I've been a horrible author and have yet to finish the current one-shot I am writing, please take this as a token of my guilt and procrastination (along with a hint of writers block)

"Okay but get this, what if I was transformed into a dog? Would I have feelings?" Stiles says and Derek glares at him. "Yeah, you're right. Too tacky. I mean, who could seriously turn into a dog?"

"Don't you have something better to do than make jokes at my expense? I may not be 'part dog' but I am 'part wolf'." Derek gives his boyfriend a shake of his head before he rolls over and turns off the bedside lamp.

"No I really don't. Oh, I have a new one. Dogs that sparkle: a concept." Stiles doesn't get a response from Derek, not even a sound. "A husky that sparkles silver. If I'm being serious, I would buy about fifty of those."

"I don't think we need a dog to be honest. Isn't Isaac enough for you?" Derek comments, turning to stare at the ceiling, already knowing that he is in for a long night.

Stiles rolls his eyes even though Derek isn't looking at him. "He's still human, sourwolf. I want a puppy." Stiles bites his lip, his eyebrows furrowed. "Do you think Spider-Man's suit has pockets? I mean, its spandex from the looks of it but still. He has his phone somewhere on him."

"I don't know. Why don't you ask him?" Derek says quietly, closing his eyes but suppressing a yawn.

"Oh yeah I'll get right on that," Stiles says, sarcasm dripping off of every word. Derek smiles slightly, he always finds it amusing when he gets to see the sarcasm flow out of Stiles like it was just a natural thing and with Stiles, it just might be.

Stiles stays silent for a minute, thinking something over. He rolls over onto his side so he can look at Derek, who's still on his back, while he thinks. Derek, sensing that he's staring at him, turns his head and smiles.

Stiles smiles back but that doesn't stop him from saying, "I think the moon landing was fake." Derek starts to sigh but Stiles continues on with his train of thought anyway. "There was a reflection of a stage light. A stage light! I don't know about you but that screams suspicious. Also the flag waving? Is there even any wind on the moon?"

"Stiles, you are not an expert on the moon and how do you even know that was a stage light?"

"Doesn't mean I can't doubt what those people tell me. It's good to be doubtful, ya know, so you don't fall for some new diet trend. And seriously? Did you even see that picture? I don't think you did." Stiles re-adjusts his pillow before making himself comfy again. "Even if it wasn't fake, what they shown could've been fake. Did we even have that kind of technology?"

Derek stays quiet, hoping that Stiles will either fall asleep or change the subject away from conspiracies. If he starts talking about another, it'll just send him down a dark whole and before they know it, it'll be like nine in the morning.

Luckily, Stiles does change the subject.

"Is 20 Questions really a game of 20 questions? I don't even understand how that's a game to be honest."

"Stiles, you used 20 Questions on me when we were in the flirting stage."

"Yeah well...shut up." Derek chuckles, rolling over to face Stiles. Stiles glares at him but he can't help smiling afterwards. "I love you even if you are a pain in my ass."

"I love you too." Derek places a quick kiss on Stiles' nose. "You're lucky we don't have anything to do tomorrow."

Stiles smiles, snuggling up to Derek. For a minute, Derek thinks Stiles is going to go to bed but again, he was mistaken.

"If an alien had a child with a human, what do you think it would look like?" Stiles asks. "Well, I guess that isn't a fair question because you have no idea what this alien looks like."

"Yeah Stiles. Does the alien have pink skin? Blue? Maybe even a natural tone?"

"I have no idea. Maybe the alien has some nice soft pastel yellow skin and the baby looks just like their mother but with the skin color from their father."

Derek looks over at the clock, seeing it's four in the morning. "Are you ready for bed yet? Its getting late."

"You want to know what I find sad? That there will never be such a thing as world peace."

Derek pushes Stiles back a little so he can get a glimpse of his face. "What makes you say that?"

"One country will always be at war with another because humans are irrational beings that start wars over anything you can possibly think of. Some parts of the world will always be fighting."

"Ye who have little faith," Derek says. "You have to have some hope in the world babe. Of course, it's not all rainbows and sunshine but sometimes, people will pull through. You should know that."

"Thanks Der. I think I'll finally go to bed."

"I love you my beautiful flower."

"I love you too my big bad wolf."
