~Kay Kellers P.O.V~
I SWEAR I just saw Senna Williams go into Noah's house.
Gross.
And if he's with her, I'm not going to even look his way. He's sleeping with the girl I absolutely hate, and she hates me.
I told Derek and he wants to go confront them.
"Do you like him?" He asks me as I'm in the kitchen pouring more Kool-Aid.
"Yes," I answer honestly.
"Cool. I'm pretty sure he likes you too." I spill my Kool-Aid. "God," he sighs. I pick up a towel and wipe off the counter.
"No. He would never like me."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm me."
"I would like you if we weren't related." I smile and take a sip of my drink.
"Thanks, Derek, but you have girls throwing themselves at you left and right," I say. "No offense," I add.
"None took. I'll actually take that as a compliment."
I laugh at that and see him on the couch staring into space with his boot up on the couch.
"You know what's weird?" I ask him, moving to sit next to him.
"Huh?" He asks getting out of his daze.
"You know what's weird?" I repeat.
"No."
"That we got hurt around the same time," I say remembering my cast and concussion that I have slightly still.
"Yeah. We are connected." He says and holds out his fist. I pump it and he asks a question. "Is Senna the one who said we should hang out tonight?" He asks.
"Yeah. She's a whore."
He intakes a dramatic breath. "Profanity." I laugh and finish my Kool-Aid. "Come on. We are going to confront them."
"No!" I shout as Derek moves to the front door.
I tackle him to the ground as he steps outside, and we land playfully in the grass, his boot completely forgotten.
He pushes me off and straddles me with his legs. I laugh and knee his back, and roll over so I'm on top of him.
"Pinned ya," I say referring to The Lion King. Then he moves and gets on top of me but I get on top of him again. This couldn't be better, "Pinned ya again." He laughs and we stand up laughing as we dust ourselves off.
A car starting gathers our attention and we both turn to see Senna outside her car walking back to Noah, who is standing in his doorway, and stops in front of him.
They speak for a little, then she claims his mouth with hers.
No! No no no no no.
"That's her," I say to Derek and his face twist into a scowl.
I told him all the things she has done to me in the years and he absolutely hates her.
"Screw you, Noah!" I scream, suddenly.
Noah looks up his face full of guilt and starts to make his way over to me.
"NO! Stay away from me!" My mouth shouts before my brain calculates it. Right now I'm pretty sure my heart is in control.
"It's not what it looks like!"
WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE? I think to myself.
"I don't care. Just stay away from me!" I demand, and he stops in his tracks.
