Lonely

You were just sitting alone in an abandoned store, away from the zombies that were roaming around outside that were looking for flesh to eat. You just sat there, on the filthy ground but you cared less about it. You raised your cold hands to a flaming fire that was just right in front of you, the heat warming your hands up. You sighed deeply as you looked around your surroundings, seeing more objects come to view as you stared longer. Suddenly you heard something snap, your hand swiftly grabbed the pistol that was right by your side. You looked to your right, seeing a silhouette walking towards you.

"Who's there?", you called out.

The silhouette came closer. You raised your pistol and aimed.

"Hey! Its fine!", you heard a familiar voice came from it.

"Its only me, (Y/N)..."

10k came to view as his hands were raised in the air. You sighed in relief as you lowered your pistol.

"Jesus christ Tommy! You scared the hell out of me", you exclaimed.

He just cracked a small smile as he chuckled. He sat down right beside you as he settled his sniper rifle on the ground beside him. You watched as he pulls out a small bag of chips from his pocket and your eyes widened. He looks at you as he opened it before handing it to you.

"Have it..", he said.

You smiled as you gladly grabbed the bag of chips from him. You knew he wouldn't talk much, unless he's up for it. He usually just sits there and just watch your every movement. You've been with that guy for the past year and you didn't mind at all. You're used to it. You reached your hand into the bag as you pulled out crumbs. He frowned slightly as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Sorry.. I didn't mean for them to get crushed", he muttered.

You just laughed slightly and shook your head.

"No, its fine..", you responded.

A smile plastered on his face as he just stays quiet, enjoying your company. You enjoyed his company also. He was the reason why you weren't so lonely anymore. You hated being lonely. Since this guy came along, he was always there. Either watching you or creating small talk with you. He knows you hate being lonely, so he's always there. He'll always be there for you.
