Warmth

(Wow, haven't updated this in a long while. I apologize for that. I've been busy and I haven't had any time to update any of my stories, until now. This is gonna be short and it's just a modern au. Enjoy)

You sat comfortably on your couch; a cup of warm Joe was in your hands. Your eyes were stuck staring out the window that was beside where you were sitting. Lifting the beverage full of caffeine, you sipped the soft froth that layered on top.

You had just woken up a few minutes ago and decided to just relax in the living room as Tommy slept in the room. You didn't bother to wake him since he had a hard day yesterday.

You hummed yourself a tune as you took another sip. Suddenly you heard the noise of a doorknob twisting and you looked to the bedroom door. You saw Tommy standing there, his hair messy and just in his boxers. He groaned slightly and stretched his arms out as he walked into the livingroom. He stopped beside the couch to plant a kiss on your forehead as you smiled warmly at him.

"Mornin' sleepyhead"

Tommy just smiled with tired eyes as he walked into the kitchen. You stood up from the couch and settled the cup on the coffee table before walking to the living room. You peeked around the corner into the kitchen, seeing him looking through the fridge. You tip toed upon the cold flooring and went behind him. He smirked slightly as he knew you were there, but pretended he didn't. You were about to jump on him until he spun around.

"RAH!", he shouted which made you jump out of your skin.

He then wrapped his arms around your waist before lifting you up. He laughed softly as he nuzzled his cheek against yours. You were still shook from that jump scare and you gave him a small glare. He pulled away and looked at your face as he settled you back on the ground. He lifted a hand to pinch your cheek and it broke your glare, a smile appeared on your face which warmed his heart.

"Jerk", you murmured.

He chuckled slightly before wrapping his arms around you and pulling you in. He leaned his head against your head, his lips gently placed another sweet kiss on your forehead apologetically. You slithered your arms around his neck and he hugged you tightly 'til no space was between you two.

"I love you"
