10k x Reader (Oneshots)

You're Fine

(Woopty doo! Wow. Haven't updated in awhile, but here I am again! Sorry to keep you waiting. Now on to it, this one is when the reader is a child and 10k finds them. Enjoy!)

10k walked the empty and quiet streets, keeping his eyes out for any Z's that could be lurking. He held his sniper rifle firmly, ready to aim and shoot any threat. He saw a wandering Z and it trudged over to him. Instead of using his rifle, he grabs his combat knife from his belt before striking it into its head; blood splattered as the Z fell to the ground, dead. 10k gave a disgusted expression before yanking the knife from the Z's head. He grabbed a cloth from his pocket before cleaning the crimson from the blade. He then shoves the cloth into his pocket, putting the knife back where it belongs and kept on walking.

"HELP!"

Someone shouted. It sounded like a child. 10k quickly moved, following where the shout came from and screams were heard. He walked behind a store and looked around the corner, seeing a group of Z's surrounding a small child. His eyes widened as one of the Z's grabbed the child and he quickly reacted, bringing his sniper rifle up and aiming quickly before shooting it's brains out. The child noticed and they looked around, spotting 10k. He quickly ran over to the Z's and dove into the middle of it, shielding the child as he quickly brought out his blade again. The child hovered behind 10k as he started stabbing the Z's heads, pushing them and striking at them. The child let out scared screams and watched as the strange man killed them all.

"Don't worry!", 10k said as he stabbed the last Z, breathing heavily.

Around them were bodies of the dead and the child whimpered.

"..You're safe", 10k said quietly as he turned around, facing the frightened child.

The child looked up at 10k and tears started streaming down their cheeks as they quickly got up and hugged him. 10k hesitantly hugged the child back as the child continued crying.

"Shh shhh...", 10k shushed quietly.

They pulled back from the hug and looked at 10k, raising their hand to wipe away their tears.

"I-I'm scared.."

10k looked at them with a concerned look and his hands gently grabbed their arms, trying to comfort the child.

"You're safe now okay.. what's your name?", he said, waiting for the child to answer.

"(Y/N)..", the child murmured.

10k looked at (Y/N) before pulling them in to another hug, his hand stroking their hair gently; trying his best to comfort them.

"Shhhh.. you're okay.. you're okay... you're fine"

(I know it's a little different than usual, but I hope you liked it. I'll probably update another, but I don't know. It's like, 2:38 AM right now. Sorry if it's too short for your liking, I promise to make more longer ones and I'll go back to writing how I usually do!)
