"Vik this is a terrible idea! I thought you were the smart one"
"No come on it will be fun, and it will get both of our parents off our asses for a little while."
Simon rolled his eyes at the younger boy shaking his head fondly.
"You won't have to do much I promise I will do the talking" Vik begged as he broke out the sad eyes. "I need you to do this"
"Aww come on Vik that's not fair"
"So you'll do it"
"Just for the weekend"
"Yay!" Vik squealed wrapping his arms around Simon excitedly.

"So when exactly did this happen?" Josh whispered to Tobi subtlety gesturing towards Vik and Simons intertwined bodies in the back seat of his car. Tobi shrugged in response as Vik nuzzled his head further into Simons chest.
"Can't have been to long" Josh chucked "Vik is awful at secrets"
"Hey I heard that!" Vik mumbled annoyed.

"Eww waaay too much pda!" Ethan exclaimed seeing Simon and Vik walk into his flat wrapped around one another.
"You're just jealous it isn't you" Josh giggled
"RIP emon" Tobi agreed jokingly as Simon and Vik began to settle themselves on the couch. Vik whispered something in the older boys ear who in response nodded and kissed the younger boys forehead. Simon's long thin fingers grasped Vik's face gently and brought it closer to his own. Their lips met, tentatively at first but quickly growing confident and far too passionate for their friends to want to see.
"For fucks sake guys really?!" Ethan complained even though inside he was glad his friends had ended up together.

"Just your cousins wedding left right?" Simon wanted to make sure he knew when this would end. He didn't want it to seem like he had enjoyed it as much as he had or even seem like he wanted to continue further than necessary. Even though he very much did want it to continue, he loved Vik. That was, after all he reason he agreed to Vik's fake relationship idea. Now after two glorious days he only had one evening left to make he most of this closeness to Vik.

"You two make a perfect pair"
Vik's relatives had been gushing at the two of them all night and while Simon had blushed his way through the compliments, Vik had beamed proudly at every single one. To Simon he had never looked more at home than in those moments.

"Vik I need to tell you something"
"Simon I have to tell you something"
The two boys spoke almost in sync as they entered the currently empty sidemen house later that evening.
"I should go first" Vik was the first to speak.
"Look Simon there's no easy way to tell you this." Vik took a deep breath and closed his eyes tightly for a couple of seconds to avoid seeing those blue orbs staring at him like they always did. Friendly and open just like Simon himself, but Vik didn't deserve that. He had tricked the older boy and now he had to come clean, it wasn't right.
"Simon I'm sorry. I lied to you, I told you I needed you to do this but I didn't, I was selfish. Please understand. I had to be with you like that, I love you. And I know you're probably weirded out right now but I knew I could never have you for real. This was the next best thing I j-" Vik's frantic explanation was silenced by a pair of lips meeting his.
When Simon pulled away from Vik again he started to giggle softly. "Vik why did you think I agreed to it? I love you. Even though you're a numpty most of the time"
"We could have make this a whole lot easier" Vik sighed heavily
"Yeah we could have, but that doesn't matter, we had each other now. That's what matters"
