KSImon - Cuddle Pact

"I have a proposal" Simon stated as he confidently strode into JJ's room and sat on the end of his bed.
"A what?" JJ replied sleepily
"An idea I guess. I think you might like it"
"Alright then" JJ replied slowly
"So you know we're both cuddle people and we cuddle sometimes"
"I don't see where you are headed with this"
"Well, we are both single, perhaps we could come to an arrangement that could suit us both, so we can get cuddles more often" Simon spoke quickly, some words slurring together.
JJ giggled at the suggestion. "You want a cuddle pact"
Simon smiled "well we could call it that yes"
"Ah fuck it why not. We cuddle loads anyway. Just as friends of course" Simon felt a pang in his chest at JJ's last sentence but forced himself to smile widely at his friend of so many years.

JJ's arms just felt so right around Simon. They felt warm, strong and safe. When those arms wrapped themselves around Simons body all Simon could feel was home.
Simon knew it wasn't right that he hadn't been honest with JJ but he knew that if JJ even suspected that Simon had feelings for him, the whole thing would be over. Simon would rather keep it secret than lose what they had.
"Simon are you awake" JJ whispered seeing the blonde boys closed eyes and relaxed expression. He received no response.
"I really loves these times. When I can talk to you without worrying what you will think" JJ spoke softly making sure he wouldn't wake the boy he thought to be sleeping. Simon was actually awake, trying to seem as if he were sleep. He wanted to know what JJ would say.
"I love you Simon, always have, probably always will. I just don't see why you're still here. You are the single most perfect person I've met. Yet somehow you're here with me, plain old me." JJ didn't finish his monologue, he was distracted by the gentle shaking of Simons head.
"Simon did you-"
"I heard" Simon admitted sheepishly. "You're wrong by the way"
"What do you mean I'm wrong?"
"You're wrong about me" Simon spoke softly almost like he didn't want to be heard at all. "I'm not perfect at all"
"You are to me" JJ admitted honestly.
"You're secretly a big old softie you know that" Simon said fondly
"I love you"
"I love you too"
