*** the car ride after the show ***

Another success! The show was great, and we had so much fun. (as usual.) Ashton kept apologizing to Alex and it was getting annoying.

"I'm really sorry Alex, please forgive me!" Ashton pleaded, once again.

"I already said it was okay like a thousand times! It's FINE!" Alex rolled her eyes.

I turned on the radio, hoping that that would make Ashton shut up.

🎼baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight
(I love cheap thrills)
baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight
(I love cheap thrills)
I don't need no moneyyyyyy🎼

I heard Alex quietly singing along, but didn't think much of it.

*at their house*

"I call showering first!" Alex yelled.

"Not if I get there before you!" I shouted, running after her.

She got her clothes faster than me and got to the bathroom quicker. I fake pouted and waited outside of the door.

'I don't need no mo-ooooo-nnnneyyyyyy as long as I keep daaaaaannnncccingg!'

I heard her sing. I put my ear up to the door to listen better.

She switched songs, 'If you feel you're sinking I will jump right over into cold, cold water for youuu.'

I was surprised that I hadn't noticed that she sung in the shower before. I got out my phone as fast as I could and recorded her. She was amazing, and people deserved to know. Not even thinking about what I was doing, I posted the video on Instagram, captioning it, 'Comment 👍🏼 or 👎🏼 about what you think!'

I heard the water stop, so I ran back to my room, pretending that I was cleaning. Alex walked out and came into my room, telling me that the shower was open. I nodded innocently and went in. I wasn't really a shower singing type of person, so I turned on the water, did what needed to be done, and got out. As I was putting my shirt on, I heard someone scream my name. I ran out and saw a very angry Alex.

"HUNTER?! Why would you post that video of me singing! That's so embarrassing!"

(read this next line as if he was rambling and talking fast.)

"Sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry, but you were so good, and I didn't know you could sing, and I panicked and did that! I'll delete it right now if you want!" I begged.

She kept looking at her iPod.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Look at this," she said shoving her iPod in my face.

The comments were blowing up. They said things like:

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 SHES GREAT😱

👍🏼I love it

👍🏼can she pls have her own song

^👍🏼but you have to sing with her too

👍🏼she's only 8? I can't even sing that good and I'm 16!

"They like it?" Alex asked, clearly confused.

"Yeah! You're like really good. I didn't even know that you could sing but you're amazing! You saw the comments, so you know I'm not just saying that."

"Oh," she said, slightly blushing.

ooooooohh. what do you think will happen next? yeah ik i'm bad at endings
