hey guys! this is my 2nd chapter, and I'm sorry for being inactive but I've been super busy with school starting up again. I plan to be more active after I get used to my new school routine.
C A M E R O N
(this was happening while Christine had her point of view.)
"Alex?" I asked.
"Cameron?" she asked.
"Hey, why did you run away? You scared me to death! Alex you can't do that, I just found you again, you can't leave me like that."
"I thought that you didn't want me." She whispered.
"What? Why would you think that?" I asked, crouching down to her.
"Ashton told me."
"He told you what?" I asked, confused as to why he would say something like that.
"He said that you said that you would be too busy to take care of me."
Well. That part was true.
"And you wouldn't have time to 'babysit'" She said, making air quotation marks with her fingers.
"That's not what I said Alex. You have to believe me."
She gave me a look that said, 'go on.'
"Christine asked me if I wanted to take custody of you, or if I could. I told her that I couldn't because I would be working, or I would be busy. And I'm guessing that you wouldn't want to feel ignored, right?"
She nodded.
"Well, if I took you, you wouldn't be able to see Ashton, Hunter, Brandon, or Christine. And you would want to be entertained, and I wouldn't have the time to do that."
I looked at my Apple Watch. '9:57' it said.
"Just like right now. I have to be on stage in less than 3 minutes. This is what my whole life is like Alex. Let's walk."
We walked quickly while I continued explaining why she couldn't live with me. I knew it would upset her, but she needs to understand why I couldn't take care of her, even if I wanted to.
"I always have somewhere to be, or something important to do. I wouldn't have much time to talk to you and it wouldn't be fun for either of us, okay?"
She nodded and gave me a hug.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too little sis."
We went backstage.
"We're here!" Alex yelled, as we both ran in.
My life was like a puzzle with one missing part. But I think I just found the last piece.
awwwwwwww ;) Alex and Cameron make me so happy now that they've found each other!
