C A M E R O NI saw Alex and Ashton talking, so I decided to watch because there wasn't anything else to do. Ashton said something and then Alex started crying. Then, she ran out of the room with her head in her hands. I ran after her to make sure she was okay, but I couldn't tell which way she went. When I was in the hallway, I looked left and right. No Alex. I walked around the place a little bit, trying to get familiar with it. It was a confusing set up, there were lots of different hallways that she could've gone down. I ran up and down every one, but I still couldn't find her. I didn't want to get Christine or any security guards because I wanted to find her on my own. I wanted to prove that, even though I couldn't take custody of her, I was still a responsible older brother.
"ALEX? WHERE ARE YOU?" I shouted.
I really hoped that she wasn't lost. Especially here, this was by far the biggest venue we've ever performed at. It could take hours to find her.
"ALEX!" I yelled again.
I searched some more, but there was still no sign of her.
I looked for about a half hour before someone came to get me to warn me that we had 2 hours before the show started and I needed to change. But I couldn't leave her, I told him to get Christine and everyone. I needed help.
C H R I S T I N E
"Christine!" I turned around, trying to see who called my name.
I saw that it was Carl, our show-person. He helped us get ready, and know our cues for when to go on stage.
"Yeah?"
"Well. There's no easy way to say this but...."
Ugh. He was stalling, and I hate stallers.
"Get to the point." I said, trying to make him hurry up.
"Cameron told me that we need your help."
"With what?" I asked, getting impatient.
"Alex is lost. We can't find her," Carl replied.
"WHAT?!" I yelled. I knew I couldn't trust Cameron with her.
"I'm so sorry, we have lots of people looking. I'm sure we'll find her." Carl said, immediately turning red after seeing my reaction to the news.
I grabbed my purse and ran out of the room. I saw one of the guards and asked where I should look. He said to go into the bathroom because he couldn't go into the women's restroom.
"Oh, man up already!" I yelled, worried about my daughter.
I ran into the bathroom and looked under all the stalls to see if there were any feet. No one was in there.

I was starting to stress out. We had been looking for one hour and 30 minutes, so we didn't have a lot of time before the show started.
I met up with Cameron and we decided to look together.
"Do you think she went outside?" Cameron asked,
I hadn't even thought of that.
"Maybe," I responded.
We split up once we got outside. I went to the back of the building and Cam went to the front. I looked around all the big bushes and heard the sound of rustling leaves.
"Alex?" I asked quietly.
"Cameron?" I heard a little voice say.
Thank God she's okay.
I sighed, relieved that she was okay.
"No, sweetie, it's Christine."
I heard more sobs.
"Honey, do you want me to get Cameron?"
"Yes, please."
I called Cam to let him know where I was. A couple minutes later, he came, dripping in sweat.
"Where is she?" He asked quickly.
I pointed to the bush that she was hiding behind and he walked over. I left them and went inside to give them privacy, and to inform everyone else that she had been found.
As soon as I walked in, the questions came flying at me.
"Did you find her?"
"I found her headband!"
"Is she okay?"
"What else do you know?"
"Where did you last see her?"
It was overwhelming.
"She was found and she's okay! She will be coming back in with Cameron any minute." I announced.
I saw Blake and Hunter hug and Ashton came up to me for a hug.
(BUNTER💔😭😭 MY HEART HURTS)
"Mommy, it's my fault. I told Alex that she wasn't going to live with Cameron and she ran off." Ashton said.
"It's not your fault-"
I was interrupted by Carl shouting in the megaphone saying that we all had 10 minutes before the show started. Everyone was a mess, running around trying to get ready.
"Jacob!" Blake yelled, "No one wants to see that!"
I didn't even want to think about what he was showing, but it made me laugh. Blake was always the funny one, and that's why it's so great that he's Hunter's bestfriend.
"We're here!" Alex yelled, while her and Cameron came running in the room.
I was just so happy that she wasn't hurt.
"PEOPLE! WE HAVE 1 MINUTE!" Carl shouted.
I sighed. Showtime.
what a relief😂
