H U N T E R

It was quiet the whole ride home until Alex asked mom what to call her and asked Brandon what magcon was.

cri. throwback to when they were in magcon.

When we got home, I was the first one inside. I stood by the window and watched our newest family member struggle with her suitcase. I should have been helping her, but she looked so familiar and I couldn't stop trying to think of who she looked like. I studied her face. She was really pretty, she had brown eyes and light, chestnut brown hair.

Brandon ended up carrying in Alex's suitcase in for her, because it was too heavy. When everyone was inside, we all went to the living room to talk.

"Okay Alex, do you have any questions?" My mom asked.

"Yes. What's magcon?" She asked.

"Magcon is a meet and greet tour. Brandon and I got 'sorta famous' on this app called younow, where you can live broadcast. We got a bunch of fans and then the magcon tour asked us to join them." I tried to explain.

She nodded her head, even though I didn't think she fully understood it.

"Who's Cameron Dallas?" Alex asked quietly.

"He's our friend, who also got famous off social media." Brandon said.

She whispered something I couldn't hear.

"What?" I asked.

"I had a brother named Cameron." She responded.

For once, our house was completely silent.

"I'm so sorry," mom said, hugging her.

"It's fine." Alex said, "I don't really remember him anyway. All I remember is that he was 11 years older than me."

Brandon looked surprised, and I was too.

"Eleven years older? That's a lot." I said.

"Yeah, I guess I was an accident," she said, laughing.

We all smiled at each other.

"Alex, do you want to see your new room?" Mom asked.

"Sure," she answered.

We all went upstairs and walked into her room. My mom was going to paint the bathroom teal one time, but decided against it. I remembered from the website that she liked the colours blue and green. We still had the paint, so all night last night, Brandon, Ashton and I all helped paint her room. Brandon found a green shoelace so we taped it up on the wall as a joke because we couldn't find anything green that a girl would like.

As soon as Alex saw her room, her eyes got a little twinkle in them.

"Thank you so much!" She said, running up to me to hug me.

I was a little shocked at first, but I hugged back. She hugged everyone else, but I felt kind of special because I was first.

Maybe. Just maybe. I loved my new sister.
