Think ... Again ...

If you read my other 'think' chapter you know I'm already not a fan of idiots who think it's perfectly fab to alter another designer's work without permission.

Guess what? Apparently people around here still believe it's just fine to do. AND for whatever reason they think when they do it they are in the right. God can only fathom why. Let me explain something to you people so you get this, all right?

If you stole, say the Mona Lisa, and messed with it, Da Vinci would be pissed (if he were alive). Hell, art collectors everywhere would kick your ass collectively. Why? Because it wasn't your work to mess with and you didn't get the original creator's permission to change his work.

It's the same principal, people. No one here is claiming to be Da Vinci (ok as far as I know, maybe they are, doesn't matter either way) but you can't screw with someone's work without permission. It just isn't right to do. 

My friend tried to help another friend out when she discovered from another designer that a girl the other designer made a thread for altered the thread. Wait, it gets better ... AFTER the girl claimed she asked her to fix what was wrong with it (the links were too close together and it couldn't be spliced I guess) and she waited days for an answer and didn't get it. 

Apparently she only waited 5 hours, blocked the designer and then changed the thread on her own and asked the other girl to code it. When the girl who was going to code it asked her if she got permission to change it, she then blocked her too. When my friend found out she was blocked too and couldn't message the girl back, she then told her friend "give me your message" and she posted it on the girl's message board for her. Today the girl deleted it and told my friend to stop posting on her board. Basically she won't admit she did anything wrong and she's avoiding everyone and as far as they know still attempting to use the thread. She still has a hiring post up. No idea who she will get to code the thing, but if she uses it she will be reported. 

Moral of the story folks: Don't be a dick. Don't steal and don't mess with other people's shit. Karma will get your ass in the end. Don't doubt it. She's a real bitch about that stuff.
