While watching the Wizard of Oz (which I haven't seen in a long while) I suddenly realized Dorothy is super whiny. And everything is basically her own fault.
1) If Toto were on a leash he never would have bitten the crazy lady and she wouldn't have tried to take him away and have him put down.
2) if she hadn't let number 1 happen, then she would have felt no need to run away
3) if she had no need to runaway, when the tornado came she would have been at the farm and simply gone to the storm shelter with everyone else.
4) instead she let Toto go into the crazy old bat's yard and then whined when the old witch came to take him away.
Consequence Dorothy. You fuck up then you have to deal with the outcome. Put the big girl panties on and deal.
Also ... where the hell is the witch of the south? Dorothy dropped her house on the wicked witch of the east, then she doused the wicked witch of the west and did her in. And Glinda is floating around in her happy little bubble being the witch of the north.
I'm pretty sure the witch of the south is neither good nor bad, she's a little of both. She's just as likely to smite you as help you. It depends on if you catch her in a good mood or not. Mostly, she sits around eating popcorn and watching movies. Just a guess.
