~ Selena ~
It was a little after noon when I went into my tour bus to change. Pulling on some skinny jeans, flats, and a loose fitting top before sending a few emails. Tomorrow we would be going back to our regular scheduling for the remainder of the tour. But less than an hour ago I had found myself in the middle of texting Demi and the two of us kind of just went off topic with our messages. I don't even know how we got to the conversation of her not being able to handle me, but I was now sitting in front of my computer having this very vivid daydream of things I probably shouldn't be envisioning.
She told me I stripped myself in front of her. No matter how many times I covered my face trying to understand such an action, I couldn't. Her concert tee lay at my side, her own face gazing up at me as I poked the fabric. A smile found its way against my skin as I mumbled under my breath about how beautiful Demi's eyes were. She was complicating things with me, and I honestly enjoyed the feeling. Maybe it was wrong to seek such attention from her, but she was very willing to give it. As the time ticked by, my stomach was practically eating itself. I made it into my fridge and moved the contents around until the front door opened. I stood, peering over the frame of the fridge compartment as Demi held up a bag.
"Is that a muffin?" I questioned.
"Yup. One blueberry muffin with extra berries. For you." She placed it on the counter as I grabbed a bottle of water and practically eliminated the bag holding my muffin.
"How was your talk with Phil?" My eyes found the brunette's.
"It was awesome. He even helped me narrow down my final choice of songs to four. So that's something." Demi slowly walked around the bus, her fingers running along different items as I watched her. She didn't seem to be looking for something, but paced around the space none the less.
"I received an email from a few of the dancers. They'll be back in town later on tonight." I moved towards the front end of the bus, turning away from my friend before finding the stereo system.
"Is Robert coming back tonight?" That was a surprise.
"I'm not sure. He hadn't messaged me. Do you want him to come back?" I was honestly curious as Demi faced me, her arms crossed as she shrugged. "Are you into him now?"
"Not really. It's just, Phil brought him up and everything. He even brought up my endless list of performance partners. If you know what I mean." Demi began to poke one of the pictures hanging on my wall. "But I've also come to realize, I have a type."
"You do?" I rose my eyebrow just as music began to blare from the speakers. I adjusted the volume, sitting in the driver's seat before gazing out into the lot.
"I always go for these people with tattoos and messy unkempt hair. And they're always my backup dancers." The bus grew quiet as I finished off my muffin, pushing the small container it was once held in to the side. Grabbing my water to drink before something covered my face.
"What is this?"
"My shirt. You stole it."
"I did not. I was wearing it, remember?" I swatted the black tee away, just as Demi tried sliding into the seat next to me. The horn went off. The both of us flinching from the noise before bursting out in laughter. I made enough room for her as she laid her head next to mine. The clear blue sky began to fill with birds as I faced the woman. She had been gazing out of the glass in front of her, possibly studying the horizon just as I was.
