12. KaiSoo

"Kai!" Kyungsoo called frantically. "KAI!!"

He had really screwed up this time.

The memory played back through his head.

/flash back/

Kai laughed. "We should do this again. I really love this!" he exclaimed, licking his ice cream and slowing down his swing.

"I'm glad you're having fun..." Kyungsoo says happily.

"Of course I'm having fun! Ice cream, swings, my best friend, what more could someone want?" Kai asked rhetorically.

Kyungsoo just looked at him. He was staring up at the stars. They had just barely come out, shining bright already, nonetheless. He couldn't resist himself.

He kissed Kai's cheek. "I love you..."

/end flash back/

He face palmed himself. "Kai! I'm sorry!"

/continue flash back/

Kai stopped his swing. His mouth gaped, his eyes wide with shock. "Uh...um..."

Kyungsoo averted his eyes down at his shoes.

"I think...I'm gonna take a walk..." Kai said. He stood up and as soon as he reached the edge if the playground, he ran.

/end flash back/

"Kai!" Kyungsoo yelled. "Kim! Jong! In!" he screeched. He could feel hot tears streaming from his eyes. His knees grew weak and he crumpled to the ground and cried.

"God, Kai..." he cursed.

He just subbed.

And sobbed.

Kai huffed and panted. He felt terrible about running off like that, but how else was he to react?

'He kissed me!' was all he could think of.

'He says he loves me'

Kai decided to try to find him, like he actually cjased after him anyways. Hard to believe.

He wandered out if the alleyway, down the streets of Hongdae (why not, it's fun to say) and circled the streets.

He finally decide to go to the park where he ran from.

He hear sobs and...his name?

"God, Kai..."

He began sprinting towards the sound. He ran to tr field and saw Kyungsoo curled up in a feeble position. Crying.

He just stood there. Watching him solemnly.

'I'm the reason he's like this. I did this to him.'

"K...Kyungsoo?"

He looked up with pure hatred pulsing through his eyes line daggers being stabbed into me.

"What?!" he stood up, wobbling. He swayed back, but Kai caught him.

"Please don't hate me...I just...freaked out..." Kai pleaded, one of his tears landing in Kyungsoo's face. Kyungsoo hastily wiped it off.

He bald smiled. "I can't hate you..." he said. Kai was confused.

"Umm...what?"

Kyungsoo blushed. "I told you earlier. I love you." He leaned forward and kissed Kai's cheek as he did previously that evening. It was dark, so he couldn't really see the smile playing at Kai's lips.

"I'm so mad at you, Kyungsoo," Kai stated.

"Huh?"

"I was so freaking worried you were gonna chase after me and get lost on the streets."

"I did chase after you! I circled Hongdae twice and then I came back here!" he screamed.

Kai slapped Kyungsoo across the face. Hard. "Damn you..."

"Why?"

"I love you, dammit" Kai said, turning away from Kyungsoo. He started pacing mumbling like he couldn't believe himself. "I love him, I love him..."

He finally face Kyungsoo. "I love you." He kissed him. He brought his hands up and tangled them in Kyungsoo's red hair. "I love you so much."

"I'm glad you finally realized."
