It's been a few hours since Griffin left with Megan. There something about her the just irks me. In the same way as Dante does. Could there be a connection? I can't be to sure.

"Hey Astaya wait up!" Called an echoing voice down the corridor. Turning to the owner of the voice, I notice that is was Alic. He ran towards me. Once he stopped, he began to pant.

"Have you found Griffin?" I asked.

"Not yet but I think I might now we're he is."

"Show me," I said. Alic nods. Grabbing my hand, he leads the way.

~Time Skip~

Alic had led me to a room on the opposite side of the court yard. We stood in the vast hallway.

"Why are we here? Who's room is this?" I ask.

"It's Megan's," Alic said staring at the door.

"Oh, I see," I said.

"Go ahead. I'll wait for you out here," Alic said. A feeling of hesitation crossed my mind. I can't invade someone's privacy. But I need to find out what's going on. I had only two choices, go in and try to find out what's going on, or be oblivious to what's going on and wait up in my room. A sigh escaped my lips as I stepped forward. I have chosen.

"If you hear any kind of disturbance, please come to help," I said. He bowed his head showing me that he understood. Giving him a nervous smile, I reach for the door nob. My hand was shaking. I finally opened the door and shut it behind me. I lean against the shut door. I did it! I look around the room as my eyes land on ann unforgettable scene. My vision blurred from the tears welling up in my eyes. There up against the wall was Megan and Griffin kissing. Megan had her back to the wall and was raking her fingers threw Griffins hair. Griffin pinned her to the wall with his body. He had one of his hands on the back of her neck as the other wrapped around her waist. They notice my presence,

"Oh sorry for interrupting," I said Boeing my head.

"What are you doing in here Astaya?!" Griffin yells pulling away from Megan.

"I-I was looking for you. I wanted you to join me and the others for a meeting," I lied.

"Then why are you crying?" Megan pointed out with a smirk. I look down.

"Fine, the truth is that I was looking for you Griffin because I thought you still had feelings for me," I said. Griffins eyes flared up like a forest fire.

"I have never had feelings for you! Why would I fall for a weakling like you!" Griffin yelled. My heart sank. Did he really just say that?! The words he said to me on the night he kissed me repeated in my head. 'Then let me help carry your burden. I promised to you that I would protect you.' More tears blurred my vision.

"But you said you loved me. You told me that you'd help me carry my burden," I said clenching my fist.

"I just said that to get you out of my way. I have never loved you! I would never love YOU!" Griffin yelled. All of my emotions bursts into overwhelming amounts of energy. I swing my fist at the stone wall. It crumbles into little pieces.

"The real Griffin would never say that to me! If you really are the real Griffin that kissed me that night and the one that said I love you, then you would have a heart! Unless I was wrong! Maybe you were always the heartless, selfish king I met in the Red Kingdom!" I yelled. Warm tears streamed down my face. I glared up into Griffin's eyes. In his eyes I saw a slight change. He showed a slight bit of despair. As quickly as it appeared, it disappeared. His kind eyes were replaced with pure hatred. I had finally had enough. "Remember the one who saved you from yourself," I said as I ran off crying.

"Astaya!" Alic called out. I just kept running. I couldn't look back, not now.
Not while my heart is breaking.

(Alic's POV)

Astaya had just broken threw a wall with her barehands. She was now running down the hallway crying. A huge serge of rage gathered inside of me. I walk over the rubble to get to Griffin.

"What the heck was that Griffin!" I shout. "We are suppose to protect Astaya! Not hurt her!" I grabbed him by the collar. I was about to punch him but I realized that would only make things worse. A sigh escaped my lips. The feeling of rage slowly left my body. "I hope your happy Griffin, because if you aren't you'll never be happy again knowing you hurt her the way you did," I said and traveled my way back over the rubble. I should go check up on Astaya.
