Chapter 7

"Oh god," Kira and I say in unison as we turn to face the lose wire that was flying around. It hit an on coming ambulance which steered away but ran over the waterfall end barrier and slammed to a stop.

Water started flowing across the road where the electrical wire laid. Isaac and Alison pulled up and stared at the scene. The ambulance driver stepped out and got electrocuted from the water. "Stand back! Everyone stand back!" Kira yelled but I saw Alison move towards him.

"Alison stop!" I scream and Isaac pushed her away only to get caught by the water. He fell into it, shell shock. People where getting out of there cars and stepping into the water, getting electrified. "We have to shut off the electricity." I told Kira.

A car came started at us, not stopping. I jumped to the side as Kira ran at it, doing a backflip and landing in the electrocuted water not even a ruler length away from the broken wire. "Kira!"

She was fine, no electrocution, no fitting, perfectly ok. I saw Scott and Derek Hale, a local who's also a werewolf but a couple of years older and cute, moving to there side we all watched as Kira grabbed the wire and cover the sparking end with her bare hand.

She opened her eyes and they were vibrant orange. I stared at her, my twin with a sort of longing and I knew then why she was immune to electricity, she a Thunder Kitsune.
Looking over at the evacuating crowd I saw mine and Kira's mum, she stared at Kira with shock and I knew that she knew more about what's going one than anybody. Why else would she be where Stiles is? Unless she knew about the Nogitsune and she's the one who's controlling the Oni.

"Scott!" Derek yelled and I turned to see him kneeling over Isaac. "He's not breathing." Everything was a blur as Kira and I were getting pulled away by our mother.

We came to a stop and she stared at my sister. "I saw what you did, now is not the time for anybody else to see." She said and pulled us away.

I wanted to talk to Kira but she shut me out, the one thing we can finally talk about and share an interest in, she doesn't want to share it with me. Celeste gave me a book about Kitsune and their different powers. I read up on Nogitsune and found that Kitsune are mischievous, they're tricksters. They don't get caught up in right or wrong or even understand it.

I thought about those times with Dean and saw how we didn't care about the rules, right or wrong, just about the fun.

If you offended a Nogitsune it reacts pretty badly. If it's doing this, then someone really really offended it.

Cross country in beacon hills is fun, because it's in the woods which is nature which is part of my element. As soon as coach blew the whistle I was off. Danny was in front, my sister coming up beside him. Smiling I felt the energy flow up my legs and seep into my muscles.

Pushing forward I overtook the two of them and ran. I felt myself speed up faster and cross the boarder from natural woods to the woods on steroids. Somewhere back I heard Kira squeal but I didn't care I loved the adrenaline.

I saw three figures ahead but I was going to fast to stop. I ran into Stiles and we crashed to the ground with him on top. The energy died but my anger rose, I stared at Stiles and saw something pass through his eyes.

"What the hell? Where have you been?" I asked only to see how close we were, I felt his breath on my face. He didn't say anything but just stared at me, the look in his eyes pulled me in. Shaking my head I pushed him off me as the people doing cross country came to a stop.

Stiles moved some leaves and found a chain. Getting to my feet I watched as he followed it and it lead to nothing. Coach clapped. "Congratulations Stilinski you found a length of chain. Can somebody now please tell me what's going on?" I saw a thin piece of wire coach was about to trip.
