Chapter 13

~~Carly's POV~~

I sat on the school floor seeing the repeat of Allison's death over and over. "Is she okay...." She said before the Nogitsune pulled me away. It mirrored something I'm slowly remembering.

"Carly.... Carly." That voice was in my head again, pushing its way through. I looked at my hand and saw it was shaking. Suddenly it was dripping with blood and a boy, brown hair and forest eyes. "You are more than you know." He said in Japanese.

A tear fell down my face as I pulled my legs up to my chest. "She's dead. You killed her," I said to him as he faced out the window. "Why?"

"Because she killed one of them. She killed an Oni." He turned to face me, anger in his eyes. "She killed one of them, she had to pay the price." He stared at me and I stared back.

"What? So now you make the decisions on who lives and dies?" He simply stared but his eyes were growing darker. "You killed a friend, you killed a daughter, a girlfriend and possibly one day a beautiful mother."

He slowly walked towards me. "I think you are in a lot of pain at the moment." He touched my cheek and kissed me. However when he pulled away I said something that shocked the both of us.

"Dean." I put a hand over my mouth and kept my face down. One because I said my soulmates name, who I turned my back against. Two because the pain, the pain I felt, it didn't disappear.

"What did you say?" The Nogitsune asked and when I refused to speak, he put his hand under my chin and forced me to face his rage filled eyes. "What did you say?" He repeated darkly.

With a shaky voice I answered him. "I said Dean. You might need hearing aids, you might be going deaf." I said feeling my mind connecting with my body once more, his drug wearing off.

"I need your pain Carly, give it to me." I shook my head.

"Not happening comrade. You may have fooled me this long, but it's not happening again." This time he smiled darkly.

"We'll see." And before I knew it, his hand was across my face.

~~Stiles POV~~

"What's our move?" Kira asked as we sat in her house with her mum and dad, trying to work up a plan.

"Well at this point you need a Devine move." Her father answered.

"Whats that's?" I asked and Noshiko answered.

"In the game of GO, it's what we call a out of the box move. The Nogitsune has had the advantage up until this point, what you need is a Devine move in order to change the game around." She finished and I was thinking how to change the game.

"Okay so is anyone feeling divinely inspired?" I asked gruffly, feeling weaker.

"Mum, you said you trapped it in a glass jar right?" Kira asked.

"It wasn't the jar that trapped it. It was where I buried it." She answered.

"The nematon," I answered remembering being there as the Nogitsune, seeing myself holding Carly as she cried. I felt her pain, felt it running through my body as I took it.
