"Kuya China! Sina Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao, ayaw nila makipaglaro sa akin. Pwede Ikaw nalang, Kuya?" I asked Kuya China while he's making siomai for the both of us.

[Kuya China! Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao doesn't want to play with me. Can you play with me instead, Kuya?]

"Aru~! You're so kawaii. What do you want to play,aru?" Kuya China said, giving me siomai. I gratefully took it.

"Salamat po, Kuya. (*bites siomai*) Hmmm... Ehhh kung.... Taguan? Okaya piko? Eh patintero? Kaso kaunti lang ta-"

[Thank you, Kuya. (*bites siomai*) Hmmm... What if... Hide-n-Seek? Hopscotch? Eh patintero? But we're only few-]

"China! Let's go." One of China's men yelled. Kuya China knelt down and ruffles my hair.

"Gomen... Lately, I'm busy doing things for my country but if I have my freetime, I promise I'll visit you. I'll bring South Korea or Japan along if you want." My eyes lit up.

"Yehey! Promise mo 'yun ah? Teka... Sino po si Japan?"

[Yehey! That's a promise, okay? Wait... Who's Japan?]

"You'll see." He smiled. While the sail went away, I waved goodbye.

"Sana... Itutupad mo ang ipinangako mo saakin Kuya. Minsan lang kase bumibisita sina Ate Indonesia at Malaysia. Si Kuya Brunei bumibisita din kaso Si Kuya China ang lagi bumibisita sakin." I said soflty.

[I wish... That you'll keep your promise, Kuya. Ate Indonesia and Malaysia only visits me once in a blue moon. Well Kuya Brunei visits often but not as often as Kuya China.]

Luzon came running towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Huh? Bakit Ate Luzon?"

[Huh? Ate Luzon. what happened?]

"Nanalo tayo." She sniffed.

[We won.]

"Nanalo? Saan?" I asked. Obviously confused.

[Won? Where?]

"Pinatay ni Datu Lapu Lapu si Kuya Magellan. Natalo natin ang mga Portuguese na may balak ihawa tayo sa mga relihiyo nila. Umuwi na si Kuya Portugal." She ststed.

[We defeated the Portuguese, who planned to change our religion. Kuya Portugal went home.]

"Talaga Ate?" I said surprised.

[Really,Sis?]

"Oo. Kaso... Namatay si... Datu Lapu Lapu." A tear escaped from her eyes. I looked down as tears were forming making my vision blurry.

[Yes. But... Datu Lapu Lapu died...] 

"Isa siyang magaling na mandirigma..."

[He's a great warrior...]

After that... They all mourned for their brave Datu...

Short Summary: Magellan came and mistook Homonhon island as Spice Islands. There were 3 Datus, Datu Lapu Lapu was one of them. The 2 Datus welcomed them and the feasted while Datu Lapu Lapu disliked the Portuguese (I forgot why). Until they fought and Datu Lapu Lapu killed Magellan and some Portuguese retreated and went home. They all rejoiced. Datu Lapu Lapu died on the same day when Magellan died. It is said that a carabao went wild and its horns stabbed Datu Lapu Lapu which caused his death. One thing I thought of it was 'Karma!'
