When you meet again~Mikey

I straightened my hat as I turned to take a customer's order. I placed the order and my uncle walked up to me, "So are you still upset with me for not telling you about my friends?" He asked and turned to face him, "Not upset more like can believe you kept a secrete that long." I said jokingly and he laughed. "I made a promise and I wasn't gonna break it." He said grabbing the bill of my hat and moving it to the side, I laughed as I straightened the hat and he slide me a note. "Out back." He said quietly as he took the customer I was talking to and handed them their order. I read the note, "Hey socks. Meet me outside." It said and I unwrapped my aprons from my waist and walked outback to wait for the stranger. Suddenly the orange turtle dropped in front of me and I smiled. "Mikey!" I said excitedly as I ran to hug him. "Hey there Socks!" He said happily as he hugged me back. "What are you doing here?" I asked as he let go of me and he stared down at me. "Remember how you said we should make a move on the girl we like?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah I said that to your brothers because they like my friends and my friends talk about them all the time." I said and he looked down at me, "Yeah well I figured I'd take your advice and give you my number." He said handing me a piece of paper and I smiled. "Aww Mikey!" I said smiling as I put the number into my phone. "What should your contact name be?" I asked and he laughed, "Mikey is fine." He said and I nodded.

I showed him the name and he smiled, "I love pizza so I'm not even gonna argue about my name." He said and I nodded. "I love pizza too!" I said excitedly. "I get free pizza all the time." I said and Mikey stared at me in disbelief. "I'll bring you some one day." I said punching his shoulder softly. "So if you don't mind me asking Socks. How do you know all the others?" He asked me and I sat on a trash can. "Well April and Flowers have been friends since they were little. Then Flowers met Clumsy Einstein and Nursey. But she met me because she stood up for me and fought of some people who were making fun of me and she showed me the other two and we've been best friends ever since then." I said smiling and Mikey nodded. "So, Socks what do you do here?" He asked curiously and I smiled. "Take orders, make deliveries, and anything else my Uncle needs me to do." I said and Mikey nodded. "Why do you live with your uncle?" He asked and looked down at my hands. "My parents passed away and I moved here to live with him." I said and I felt Mikey wrap his arms around me. I hugged him back, "I'm sorry Socks." He said and I nodded. "It's okay Mikey. I'm fine I promise." I said letting go of him and he looked down at me. "Well as long as you're okay." He said smiling and I returned the smile. "Do you want some pizza?" I asked getting off the trash can and walking to the door, Mikey nodded. "Is that even a question you need to ask?" He asked laughing and I shook my head. "Just wanted to be nice." I said opening the door and looking down at my phone to check the time. "You can come in, it should be closed. Just me and my uncle stay after." I said walking in with Mikey behind me. "Uncle (name)! Mikey's here!" I said loudly as he walked out from around the corner. "Mikey! Nice to see you again!" He said holding out his hand and Mikey shook it. "I'll get you guys some pizza." My uncle said as he headed to the kitchen to grab us some left over pizza. We both thanked him and sat to eat our slices, Mikey quickly stood up and wiped his mouth. "Socks I gotta go, we have patrol tonight. I see you around. Bye Mr. (Name)! Thank you for the pizza!" Mikey yelled as he ran out back and I smiled. "Uh oh! Someone's got a crush!" My uncle said from the kitchen and I threw my plate at him. We both laughed as we closed the shop and walked back to our apartment. I went to my room and smiled at the memory of gaining the ninjas phone number. "I'll have to text him tomorrow." I said to myself as I climbed in bed. That night dreams of a charming orange masked ninja invaded my dreams.
