The Unexpected

When you get hurt~Mikey

"Socks, look I need you to come to (Leo's girls name). It's important." Leo said to me over the phone.
"Leo I'm busy right now, I have a job."
"Socks I understand that but this is serious."
"Okay, I'll be over."
"No! Don't go alone."
"Why not?"
"It's not safe, just wait Mikey will be there soon."
"But why is it not safe?"
"Different people have hurt all your friends tonight, we didn't want you to be next."
"Oh..please tell Mikey to hurry."
I ended the call on my phone and quickly looked around the ally I was standing in. I had gone outside to throw the trash away and I stood by the back entrance. I quickly ran back inside and looked around the restaurant. Everyone was gone because out closing time happened over an hour ago, I volunteered to stay behind and clean up because I've been leaving early to be with Mikey. Everything was quiet, I walked to the back and stood in the small closet. I heard a loud noise and quickly shut the door quietly as I waited for what was going to happen. Men began searching around the restaurant as I remained silent in the closet. "I have to get out of here." I said to myself and waited for the men to walk to the other side of the restaurant, once they were out of sight I quickly ran out the closet and out the back door. The rain fell on my face as I continued to run, I ran until I stood under a street light and looked around in the dark night. A bench was close to me but wasn't surrounded by light, some trees also surrounded me so I knew I was close to the park. Which meant I was also close to Mom's apartment. I looked around frantically as I remained under the light, the light seemed orange due to the old bulb and the strong rain pouring down. Suddenly a man grabbed me from behind and I screamed loudly. "Help! Someone!" I screamed but then my voice halted. I tried screaming but nothing came out, the man had his hand wrapped around my throat and it tightened every time I tried to scream. I clawed at his hand and kicked my feet trying to break free, but it was no use. Mt vision began to blur and my head fell back causing rain to fall on my face. Then, I fell, I hit the ground and gasped for hair. My strangler was on the ground and I looked up to fine Mikey fighting off the men. Rain fell down his form and trickled down his mask. Once all the men were either gone or unconscious Mikey ran over to me. "You okay?" He asked as he shielded me from the rain and I nodded. "Can you breathe? Talk?" He asked and I nodded. "Yes Michelangelo I'm fine." I said and he quickly picked me up. "Let's get you dry and safe." He said as he ran with me and climbed a building. "Just hold on, okay?" He said and I nodded as I held onto him. "Hey, socks, I promise I won't let anything like that happen to you again." He said before taking off and heading to Mom's house.
