A smile spread across my face as soon as Luke's face popped up on the screen. A smile on his face too. Luke, Liz, and Andy went back home to Australia for the holidays. To see his brothers and other family members as well.

"Hey gorgeous," he finally spoke. The faint sound of talking and music in the background of his home in Australia. "Hey Lukey," I said, my smiler getting bigger, if that's possible, just saying his name. "What time is it there?" I asked. Remembering he's hours ahead. "Just about midnight," he answered, checking his phone. "Go to sleep!" I hadn't realized it was that late. "What! No everyone is still here celebrating us coming home. And plus, I'm extremely jet lagged. No chance of me sleeping anytime soon."

I laughed, "You're a mess." he smirked "I'm your mess," he said wiggling his eyebrows. I shook my head disapprovingly. "That was horrible Luke," he started laughing, as did I.

"How is being is Australia when you just left Florida? Any difference?" "Um, it's a lot less humid. Oh my God I don't miss that," we both let out a laugh again. We carried on chatting about random things, and telling stories of the past forty eight
hours with out each other.

My dad popped his head into my room to and wanted to know if I wanted to go to an early lunch. I answered yes, and told him Luke was on Skype. My dad made his full body in view, and bent down so his head was on my shoulder and in the view camera.

"Hey Luke! how's 'Straya so far?" my dad asked, and attempted his best Australian accent. Which made me cringe, I'm sure Luke as well. "It's pretty good so far King, glad to see my family and friends. How is Florida without me? Anything different?"

"I mean, one less person in my house to feed, so it's great!" My dad smirked and patted my back. Luke basically lives at my house during the day. "Alright I'm gonna go shower Honey. Bye Luke!" my Dad waved to the camera, and left my room.

I smacked my hand against my face "That was so embarrassing. We've been dating a year and a half, he still manages to do something in front of you." I heard his contagious laugh through my laptop speakers yet again. "Your dad is great, just saying,"

"Yeah he's pretty great. Well I have to get ready for my brunch date with my dad. Bye Lukey, see you soon," I said and cracked another wide grin just thinking about seeing him again.
