"C'mon Michael. If Luke was here, you know I would let you hold his hand," I said, as I parked my car at the cringy town haunted hike.

"I know you would because you're amazing Eves," Michael said, grabbing my hand out of pure fear.

"It's sad he couldn't be here, but I understand. Family comes first," Calum piped, behind me walking with Ash. We all agreed, nearing the ticket booth.

"Ticket for four please," I said and smiled at the middle aged woman, handing her our money that i collected in the car to make it a faster process. "Coming right up sweets! Oh and what a cute couple you two are," She complimented, gesturing to mine and Mikey's hands. My eyes widened. "Oh my god," Cal and Ashton said and started snickering. I took out my phone, which had me and Luke kissing under an arch at a beach pier as the lock screen. "That's my boyfriend, Luke. These are his three best friends, this one," Nodding my head towards Michael, "Is just a big baby. Luke's not here right now because of a personal problem." I explained, as Michaels face flushed.

The woman made her lips into a straight line and handed us our tickets. "Well i'm sorry girly, enjoy anyways!"

We walked away, and the two other boys busted out laughing. Michaels face turning a red again, "Wha- I can't help i'm terrified of these things," He frowned and squeezed my hand out of embarrassment. I let go of his hand and put my arm around his waist and assured it was okay to be afraid.

I even told him a little white lie and said i was a little nervous.

I really wasn't, these things haven't been scary since i was a little girl.

We got into the enormous line and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Michael only got even more scared, and Ashton and Calum just made casual conversation about the people dressed up as zombies or clowns. They would casually come up and hit the fence everyone was in between, and make a loud noise and try and scare the crowd waiting. Michael, only one that jumped and grabbed my hand again. After waiting what felt like hours but really only being fortyish minutes, it was finally our turn.

"How many in your group?" We were asked, as the lady hole punched our tickets. "Four," Ashton said.

"Okay right this way, hope you make it out alive!" She said, putting us into a room, locking it, and banging on it to try and scare us. And there sat a lady who told us rules. Like no
phone, no touching the actors, and if they accidentally touch you don't worry about it since it is a small walk way and there's four of us. Michael had my hand the whole time. The lights went off and a black light came on and glow in the dark paint was every where and all over the lady as she screamed. And a door opposite of the one we came in from busted open and a man who was covered in blood, fake, came in and started yelling and trying to get us to walk towards the start of the hike.

"Honestly, this was way over hyped," Calum said, and we all agreed. Except Michael, who walked quietly while eating his popcorn out of the souvenir cup he insisted on getting him since we put him through a 'traumatic experience'.

Long chapter bc i went to the haunted hike last night. It wasn't scary,
just hot as fuck. I almost punched an actor as they were screaming in my ear. i even yelled to one of them 'get a breath mint!'. bitches smelled.
