A/N: Two updates today, because the last update wasn't really even a chapter... MORE updates soon to come!!
"We'll now begin the 89th National High School Championship.
The Tokyo Tournament of East and West!!"
Standing in a giant baseball stadium were many high school baseball teams. They all stood in vertical lines, with the captain of each team holding a sign with their school's name. It was the opening ceremony, and each school was tightly packed onto the small baseball field.
"So hot and cramped..."
"I can't see because of Masa-san."
"Shut up Mel."
The quiet complaints from each team was evident. Seido's baseball team was in their designated line up spot. Jun clicked his tongue in annoyance, looking around at the other teams. "It's way too cramped, damn it..." He cursed, standing behind Yuuki.
Esumi was in line too. Seeing as how the teams were lined up by year, she was in the back with the other first years. Esumi was the first, then behind her was Haruichi. Behind the pinkette was Eijun, and then Furuya in the back. "Ohhh~ What a mass of people...!" Eijun grinned happily.
"That's because the opening ceremony assembles everyone from the east and west." Haruichi responded. Esumi giggled quietly.
"Carefully Ei-nii, your idiot is showing." Esumi teased, glancing back for a quick second. Eijun pouted, crossing his arms.
"Anyways, the semi-finals of the east district will be held here at Jinguu. The first goal is to return here." Haruichi interrupted before Eijun could retort to his twin sister.
"There are 260 school here, in total, Ei-nii." Esumi whispered. "So in about three week, there will be two schools as representatives."

After the opening ceremony, Seidou High began to head back to their bus. Esumi paused for a second. "Esu, what's wrong?" Eijun called after his sister. The regulars turned toward their smallest member.
"Ah?" Esumi smiled. "Sorry, I have to use the restroom really quick. I'll meet you at the bus." Before she could get an answer, Esumi excused herself from the rest of her team. The small Seidou female weaved through the many other students, looking for the restroom.
Meanwhile, with no other choice, the rest of the Seidou baseball team headed toward their bus. Jun looked around, trying to spot Esumi in the crowds of people. But a certain crowd of people caught his eye. "Mh?" He hummed, getting a better look.
"Ah?" The other high school team in front of Seidou paused. Written across their chests was 'Inashiro'.
A head of blonde hair popped up behind Inashiro's third year catcher, Harada Masatoshi. The blonde, Narumiya Mei, gasped as he spotted Seidou's third year pitcher. "T-Tanba-san went bald from the shock of that ball!" Narumiya shook a bit.
"I got a cold sweat back then, but it seems that it wasn't so serious." Harada looked away.
"Of course!" Jun growled, getting more irritated by the second. " Tanba's face is harder than steel! Like it would lose to a hard ball."
"His fist is like a rice cracker." Yuuki smirked. Ryosuke chuckled, looking up at his captain.
"No, that'll break." The second baseman responded. Behind the rest of the third years was Tanba, who wasn't sure whether to be pleased or pissed off toward his teammates.
"Just look forward to playing us!" Jun exclaimed, leaning forward.
"You're all so energetic." Harada sighed.
