A/n: Hey Guys! It's been quite a while!!

I wanted to say a couple things first:

--Sorry for the hiatus, things have been crazy lately..

--I realized that I made a mistake in earlier (wayyyy earlier) chapters. I was calling the assistant coach, Ochiai, when I was referring to that (annoying) guy that literally hates Eijun and always favors Furuya and Kawakami...You know that third guy thats always with Kataoka and Takashima. I figured out that his name was was actually Oota Kazuyoshi.

-- [SPOILER!] And Ochiai is actually the man that comes in to replace Kataoka as coach later on in the manga/anime

--And finally, I don't think I'll be writing the whole Akikawa (and other future) matches. The games that Seidou participate in will at max be 3 parts.

Other than these ^^^ Enjoy this next chapter

"Esumi-chan?" Miyuki and Haruichi questioned in unison. They saw the far off look in Esumi's gold eyes. Seidou froze, seeing the girl's eyes flutter. Esumi's body relaxed, and she fell limp.

"ESUMI!"

~__!__~

Before the first year's body could hit the floor, she was caught by the second year catcher, Miyuki. Haruichi appeared next, clearly guilty. The rest of the team stood frozen, not expecting something like this to happen. Eijun had pushed his way through his teammates, hoping that his sister was okay.

Kataoka was quick to call a timeout, before rushing toward Esumi. "Lay her in the back." He ordered. Miyuki carried Esumi's small body into the back room that was connected to the dugout. Jun and Yuki followed, moving away bags that lie on the benches. Eijun pulled out his jacket from his own bags in order for his sister to use as a pillow. Miyuki set Esumi down carefully, before moving aside for Kataoka and Takashima to examine her.

"Is she okay?" Eijun asked worriedly. Chris placed his hand on the older twin's shoulder.

"I'm sure she's fine." The third year catcher attempted to reassure the pitcher, especially because Eijun might still be needed for the match. Worry about Esumi more would only tense him up.

Eijun nodded his head, though it was more to reassure himself than to agree with his upperclassman. 'Why didn't I feel anything? Why didn't she tell me?' He thought, clenching his hands into tight fists.

"Fujiwara, bring the first aid please." Takashima called to the third year manager. The raven haired girl nodded, moving swiftly. She brought a white box over, letting Kataoka take it.

"Does anyone know anything?" Kataoka glanced back amongst his students. Haruichi nervously stepped up. The coach raised his eyebrow, waiting for the pink haired first year to speak.

Haruichi hesitated, silently pleading that Esumi forgive him later on. "Yesterday, Esumi-chan got heat stroke."

The room went silent for a moment, before it was broken by Jun. "And why the hell are we just hearing about this out now?!" He looked at Haruichi who flinched.

"Esumi-chan didn't want me to tell anyone...."

Kataoka sighed, knowing that it was just like her. First it was her leg injury, now it was this. 'Sometimes she's more trouble than it's worth...' Kataoka got up, looking at Takashima. She nodded, moving to take care of Esumi's unconscious figure. "Shirasu, you're substituting for Esumi." The right fielder nodded his head, replying with a loud 'yes'.
