Tori's POV

I walked around finding myself in the garage. I smiled as I looked out the dusty window.

"Hey," I turned around to see Liam. He wore a black tight fitted shirt with a black leather jacket and black pants.

"Hey." He smiled lightly. "You ready?"

"Not at all."

He chuckled. "Oh don't worry about it." I smiled as we continued to make small talk.

As the day went on we filled the jeep up with supplies and I counted down the hours before our departure. Before I knew it we were eating our last meal at the camp, all of us trying to make it seem as normal as possible and a number of scared people and nervous energy in the room wasn't helping at all.

I did some last minute packing after dinner and double checked everything about eight times making sure that everything was ready. I then walked up to my empty room getting a nervous feeling in my stomach as if the adrenaline was already coursing through my body. I didn't get much sleep until I had to get up and walk down the hallway and wake everyone up.

I woke Thomas up first, the kalea and Minho, Newt and Hunter and Liam. As they walked out of their rooms we all exchanged looks before walking out into the cafeteria and getting some food. All of us ate slowly trying to prolong the amount of time we had in the camp. When I finished I got up and hugged all of the guards and people that were working. All of them wishing me luck.

Still, no one had said a word as we got into the truck. I shut the driver's side door. The pit in my stomach from last night had grown about six sizes. I took a couple of deep breaths before nodding at the guard who stood at the garage door button. The door opened behind us. I started the jeep and put the truck in reverse. I slowly backed out of the garage and into the sandy desert.

"Welcome to hell," I said as I put the car in drive and pinned it on the gas. I began to set up the truck radio while the car drove in a straight line. I flicked it to channel forty-seven. I grabbed the walkie talkie.

"Hey Vice, It's T," I said into it. "Do you read me, Vince?"

"Loud and clear Mrs. T." The raspy voice belonging to Vice replied.

"We're on our way to the nearest village going north."

"Sounds good, we'll meet up with you guys somewhere to make sure all of you guys are okay."

"Thanks, Vince."

I returned my focus on where I was going. I glanced in my rearview mirror, the terrified faces of my friends,

"Okay everyone just chill out," I said firmly. "Let me worry about this and you guys can just worry about getting rid of your nervous energy."

It took us about what I would say to be three hours going in a straight line with absolutely nothing around us. The drive felt like we were in the car for days. As we could see the nearest village approaching I turned off and parked the car. The three kids from the back seats hopped out followed by the two who were in the trunk of the jeep.

"I vote that we alternate passenger seat people, so everyone gets a turn to be squished in the backseat of hell." Newt protested.

Thomas's POV

"Alright follow me." Tori chuckled. We walked around the building. We followed Tori looking like lost puppies. Hunter stayed close to newt, Kalea was close to Minho squeezing his hand and Teresa was doing the same to me. Tori was walking at a fast pace and knew exactly where she was going, Liam staying close to Tori as they discussed things and pointed around at the crumbling buildings. The people of this crumbling village looked weak and in hope of someone to help them.
We looked around the village before Tori lead us back to the car. She grabbed the hand radio and started talking.
"Hey this is Tori does anyone read me?"
