Therapy

Please note this takes place in doctor hoppers office and all dialogue is between him and Regina. Warning mentions of rape and torture.

H: How are you today Madam Mayor?
R: Fine.
H: Anything you want to talk about?
R: Not really.
H: Snow thinks you need this therapy.
R: Snow also thinks that she's queen of the universe, but we both know that's not true.
H: Regina.
R: I'm fine. Okay. What happened to me, it's in the past. I'm over it.
H: I don't think you are.
R: *grabs stuff* This is over.

Three months later.

H: Glad to see you today Madam Mayor.
R: Whatever.
H: Do you want to talk about anything?
R: I don't particularly want to, but we both know that.
H: Snows worried about you.
R: Snow needs to mind her own business.
H: Tell me about Leopold.
*silence*
H: Regina?
R: He was my husband.
H: I know.
R: We're you fond of him?
H: From what I remember he was lovely.
R: *scoffs* Sure.
H: You have a different opinion.
R: I have a different side.
H: Tell me about it.
R: Why?
H: Because the only way I'm letting you leave is if you tell me.
R: *sighs* Fine.
H: Start at the beginning.
R: I saved Snow White.
H: And then what.
R: The king asked for my hand in marriage. My mother accepted.
H: Did you want to marry the king?
R: No.
H: Oh. What happened next.
R: I planned to run away. With my boyfriend Daniel. But my mother found out, because Snow told her.
H: How did Snow know?
R: She had seen me kissing Daniel earlier that day. I had made her keep it a secret. She couldn't.
H: What happened.
R: *Sighs* My mother ripped Daniels heart out and crushed it in front of me.
H: *widens his eyes* then what?
R: I married the king the next day.
H: How was your life as Queen.
R: my life as Queen was alright.
H: Then why do you hate Leopold?
R: I said my life as Queen was alright, I never said my marriage with Leopold was a walk in the park.
H: Okay, Tell me about it.
R: you don't want to know.
H: Sure I do.
R: The night we married he wanted to consummate the wedding. I wasn't ready. I told him as much, but he didn't listen to me. It's safe to say I fought him as much as I could until I passed out.
H: Passed out?
R: He got angry with me for fighting him. He choked me until I passed out.
H: Oh.
R: Most nights were like that. Until I gave up. I couldn't fight anymore. Then he started playing hide and seek.
H: Hide and Seek?
R: Him and a bunch of his nights would make me go into the woods in the middle of the night. They would give me 3 hours to hide and then they went looking for me. When they found me they would torture me.
H: Torture how?
R: Burn me with torches, punch me, test out weapons on me, shoot me with arrows, Rape me, one time they left me tied to a tree naked the whole night.
H: What else did Leopold do?
R: That isn't enough?
H: No I'm not saying that, I'm just asking what else he did besides that, it sounds like Hell, but for a sadistic person like him, he had to have done more.
R: *looks at the floor* He did.
H: Want to talk about it?
R: He called it the play room.
H: and?
R: He painted it with my blood.
H: What do you mean?
R: every couple of weeks he would take me to the room, strap me down, cut me open and paint the walls with my blood. Then he would burn the cut so it wouldn't get infected.
H: oh.
R: it was his favorite thing. He also liked to hang me from the ceiling by my feet, watch the blood run. He enjoyed it.
H: Is this why you killed him?
R: technically he isn't dead anymore.
H: before.
R: No.
H: So why did you kill him.
R: We're done for today.
