"What room Mr. Glass?" Ms. Novak immediately jumped in.
"The play room. Regina locked the door but I was trapped in the mirror. I had access to all the mirrors in the castle at all times. So I explored a bit." The man sighed and shook his head "I- when I met the woman I'd heard the stories of her husband, but it was hard to believe. I won't lie to you I didn't want to believe a person could be so horrible. When I saw the room I couldn't take my eyes away. It's hard to imagine how much blood could come from one person." He whispered his body shuttering slightly.
"Can you describe the room to us?"
He nodded "it was large. There were chains hanging from the wall, they were rusty. There was a hook in the middle of the room hanging from a long chain attached to the ceiling. There was dried blood everywhere. There was a wall, of just tools. Some of them were caked in blood and different substances. Buckets of I don't even know what we're scattered everywhere."
"Buckets of what?" Casey asked creasing her brows
"I don't know, I couldn't identify what it was." He admitted softly as he fidgeted with his hands.
Casey went to the table and picked up her notes. "In a diary found in Regina's vault, it stated that the buckets were filled with semen. Often times the king would ejaculate into them while he worked. It was a turn on to torture her." The woman set the paper down and the jury looked appalled. Sidney nodded quietly
"Is there anything else you noticed in the room?" Casey asked. He nodded.
"What mr. glass?""A book."

The trial was over with for the most part but they still had another day to go.Regina was beginning to feel sick. "Robin I really don't think I can do this." She admitted seriously. He sighed and pulled the brunette into a hug. "I know baby, and no one can blame you. What do you say we go home and have a nice bath and I make your favorite?" He suggested and she nodded.
She didn't want to tell him that no matter what he did she would still feel sick. No matter any efforts she wouldn't feel safe or better until her torturer was behind bars.
They picked up Henry from Snow and David's and took him back home. Regina slipped into a bubble bath and the teen decided to ask a few questions. "So what's going on with the trial?" Henry pried wondering if Robin would give him any information. "Henry you know I can't tell you, I wish I could." He admitted softly and Henry sighed "I just want to know what's going on." The pout the child gave Robin reminded him of Emma and he shook his head. "Your mother wouldn't want me to tell you."
"'My mother doesn't have to know." He pointed out and Robin shook his head "now Henry you know I don't want to disrespect your mother like that."
"It's not disrespectful, it's just...giving a dog a bone. I want to know what's going on!" He whined. Henry wasn't anything if not observant and he knew this case was taking a toll on his mother. He just wanted to help. Robin sighed. "I can't tell you son. I wish I could. I really do, but Regina would have my neck if I utter a word of it and you know that." The man sighed and Henry pouted.
He did know that. It was the one thing he wish his mother would change. He knew she wanted to protect him but he wasn't a baby anymore. He wanted to protect her too.
He went up to his room.
Robin went to check on Regina. He found her in a steaming bubble bath and sat next to her. "How are you?" He asked softly and she looked at him with her doe like brown eyes. He could see her pain, she was practically dripping in sorrow and Robin wished he could take it away. He leaned down and kissed her head knowing she didn't know how she was herself.
Regina leaned against him quietly. She wanted to tell him she was fine. She wanted to say that everything would be okay. But she knew that would be a lie and she had promised to be open in her relationship.
They both had.
Honesty was the best policy but she still felt like she should pretend she was fine. "I'm not okay." She whispered breaking the silence. The admission wasn't something easy. It didn't make her feel any better either. "I'm not okay and I wish that this was over and we could just put him on death row."
"Regina, I understand why you feel this way but you shouldn't wish death on anyone." Robin whispered softly.
She bit back sharply "that's bullshit Robin and you know it. I should wish death on him after everything he's done to me! I deserve it! I have a right to want him out of my life!" She hissed. He felt attacked, but he knew she was right "Regina you're right, you do have a right to all of those things." He whispered "but have a little tenderness." She shook her head. Getting up slowly she wrapped herself in a towel "he doesn't deserve tenderness. Prison is too good for him." She whispered shaking her head and heading to her bedroom to get dressed. Robin sighed.
It would be a long night.
—————————
That morning Regina woke up cuddled up to Robin as usual. She trusted him with her life and it had taken a long time to get to where they were now. Many sleepless nights, many tearful goodbyes and lots of make up sex. The last one was her personal favorite.
She got up slowly and stretched. The trial was postponed due to Leopold needing medical assistance for reasons she didn't know yet. She hoped a prisoner had beaten him until he passed out. She straightened her hair and went downstairs to fix Henry his breakfast and pack a sack lunch for school.
This was the first normal day she'd gotten in weeks and she was happy to have it. She ran a hand through her hair and slowly mixed batter for pancakes. Henry bounded down the steps still in his pjs and Regina creased her brow "Henry why aren't you dressed?" She asked and he looked at her and she immediately knew he was sick.
Maybe it was years of parenting but his glazed over eyes and slightly sweaty brow revealed how unwell he was. She grabbed the thermometer and had him hold it under his tongue. "Lay down on the couch I'll get you a blanket." She said flipping the pancakes so they wouldn't burn. She grabbed a blanket from the hall closet and put it over her baby.
Checking the thermometer it revealed a fever of 102.6 and she pouted softly and asked him how he was feeling.
"My head hurts and my stomach hurts and my back aches." The boy whispered and she nodded getting medicine for his pain and soothing him a little with her magic. Once the teen was asleep on the couch Regina called Marian and had her keep Roland for a couple more days because she didn't want him coming home and getting sick. Then she called the school and told them Henry wouldn't be coming in.
She finished breakfast and got Henry some sprite for his tummy and also to keep him hydrated. Robin came downstairs "Regina have you seen my hair gel?" He asked creasing his brows "Why is Henry on the couch?"
"He's not feeling well, I called Marian and told her to keep Roland for a bit longer while he's recovering, did you check your brief case? Maybe you stuck it there?" She shrugged and handed him a plate. "No?" He mumbled to himself and figured he would check there later. He kissed her temple "how are you feeling?" He asked sitting down. The brunette seemed to be in a much better mood this morning.
"Well." She replied and sat across from him eating quietly. She had wanted to say more but kept it simple.
Robin got a call from David and creased his brows.
"Hello?" He answered
David's voice came on the line. He whispered softly "is Regina with you?" He asked
"Yes why?"
"Can you go to another room?"
"Uh... okay?" The man stood up and went to the foyer "David what's up?" He asked when he was out of earshot
"He escaped."
"What?!?" Robin asked confused
"Leopold escaped jail, we don't know where he is."
And that's the update. I'll try and update soon. Busy summer my dudes. Not actually I've just been a lazy person.
