Chapter 9. Akward

After a few minutes I open the door a crack and make sure Travis isn't in the hallway. I walk out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around me. I get in my room and close and lock the door. I grab some clothes and start to dry off, I start thinking about what happened. Ok so Travis saw me naked and I still don't know what I think about it. It's still really weird because I don't know what he is thinking, but I think it's ok. It is bad in a way because now all I can think about are my flaws. Like how I'm super pale and that my boobs are different sizes and the stretch marks on my sides, from that part of my life. If I only knew what he thought about me maybe I could stop freaking out. I put on my clothes and I decide to text Nicole before going downstairs to talk to Travis.

K- Nicole I need to talk to you
N- What's up
K- I think I like someone
N- OMG!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
N- So who's wedding am I going to be maid of honor at
K- No one said anything about that 😡
N- Calm down
N- But actually who is it
K- Um.... Travis
N- lol but seriously who is it
K- I'm not kidding
N- oh sorry, I'm happy for you two
K- But there's a problem
N- What?
K- He saw me naked
N- And he stayed the night?
K- Yes
N- What is he doing now?
K- He's making me pancakes
N- He's making you pancakes ?!?!?😍
K- It's just breakfast
N- Pancakes is not just breakfast, it's an edible way to say "thank you so much for last night"💋
N- I'm your friend, give me details
K- ok

I threw my phone on my bed, mad at Nicole for suggesting that Travis and I "did it". The thought makes me feel uncomfortable and yet kind of giddy. I push everything out of my head and go downstairs where Travis is putting the pancakes on the plates. "Smell delicious" I say, he turns nervously and says "um thank, I love cooking." We sit and eat our pancakes in silence before I say "obviously we not going to be any less awkward unless we talk about this" he smiles a bit and says "I'm happy you said that because I wanted to say you're the most beautiful and perfect girl I've ever seen" I immediately blush like crazy and start eating my pancakes. He lifts up my head and kisses me and in that moment I knew I didn't mind him seeing me naked and I wouldn't mind it happening again. We start to clean up breakfast and I suggest "how about we go to the mall after we clean up" and Travis says "sounds like fun." We get in my teal electricity car and drive to the mall. Dante FaceTimes Travis and says "what do you want to do for your birthday, it is in two days after all" oh no I'm a horrible person I didn't even know it was his birthday in two days. I wait until he's done with his FaceTime and ask "so what do you want for your birthday" I look over at him and he looks as if he's debating something and he finally says "you" I nearly stop the car, but I keep my cool fighting the blush spreading across my face. I look at the road and say "and how do you want me" wow that sounded cooler in my head. He puts on his arrogant smirk and says "all natural". If we hadn't just parked I might have crashed the car out of surprise. I put on a sexy face and say "that can be arranged". I leave Travis in the car with his mouth wide open, obviously surprised I didn't hit him, let alone hit at agreeing. He quickly recovers and as we walk into the mall I know exactly what to get him as a present, even if I'm nervous.
