Chapter 16. Mistakes Were Made

I wake up and fell a body next to me, I pull it closer and open my eyes. "WHAT THE @&%#" I yell in shock, Lucinda jolts awake and terrified. She hops out of bed and grabs her clothes of th... WAIT HER CLOTHES, OMG SHE WASN'T WEARING ANY CLOTHES!!!!! Oh shit, how drunk did I get last night, and why did no one stop this horrible thing form happening. At this point Lucinda has her clothes on and is about to open my room door. I run over and block the door "what happened last night" I try to say in a calm manor though it comes out very aggressively. "Um..." she mumbles, she obviously isn't going to answer my questions so I put on a teal tank top and brown pants and lead Lucinda over to Aphmau's room. I knock on her door and wait for her to open it, after a few seconds she does. When she does I say "Aphmau I... um... don't remember like anything from last night, then last thing I remember I going to the bathroom. Then I woke up with Lucinda in my bed... uh... half naked." She gawks at me then looks at me as though I'm playing a prank on her. She rolls her eyes and says "let's go downstairs and talk, I need aspirin anyway." We sit in the couch and Aphmau starts "last night after you went to the bathroom all of the sudden you were in love you Lucinda. You were kissing and stuff like that, if you look now you can see the pink lipstick that's still on Lucinda's neck." I look at Lucinda'a neck and see the dried crumbling trail of pink from her shoulder up her neck. Under the pink you can see a purple hickey running up the trail as well. "Shit" I mumble under my breath, I look to Aphmau "how drunk did I get last night," I turn to Lucinda "and how drunk did you get?" I look back and forth between them, Aphmau looks concerned and Lucinda looks guilty. Aphmau says "I don't remember you have more than one drink and you didn't seem drunk," I look at her confused and turn to Lucinda. "Do you have any idea what happened?" She looks guilty so I press more "did you do something?" I ask shocked, why would she want this to happen. She puts on a poker face and says "I did nothing wrong, what could I have possibly done anyway!" I give her a glare and a low growl, I can see right through her lies "what did you do?" She looks away and Aphmau gets up and crosses the room, and opens Lucinda's purse. She pulls out a half empty bottle of love potion and looks at Lucinda with her eyebrows raised. She hops up off the couch and runs out the front door towards her house. I sigh and get up off the couch and start chasing after her, it only take 30 seconds for me to catch up to her an I tackle her to the ground. I have all this pent up anger in did elf me and I just let it all go "WHY DID YOU DO THIS!" She stares at me and it looks like her heart is breaking into a million pieces, I pull her off the ground but before I can do anything else Aphmau come running up to me, out of breath. She takes a few seconds to compose herself before saying "Katelyn you don't remember anything that happened last night do you?" I shake my head no and tears start rolling down her face "last night Travis shoved a piece of mirror in his neck because of you and Lucinda. We aren't sure if he'll make it, we found out that he's in a coma that he may never wake from." I freeze my heart shattering into the broken pieces they were before I met him, I'm too shocked to cry or do anything. I just drop to my knees and stare into nothingness until I feel Aphmau shaking my shoulder gentle. I pull her down next to me and hug her and start sobbing. She looks at me with wet sympathetic eyes, "there's the Katelyn I know" she whispers giving me a watery smile. We sit there in the middle of the street for what seemed to be no time, but the sun had already started to set. When we get back to the house and I sit on the couch I think 'if Travis does because of Lucinda, I'll kill her.' Though deep in y heart I never could.

Hi, I may turn this to a Lucinda x Katelyn, and then a Lucinda x Katelyn x Travis love triangle with Katelyn in the middle having to choose who to love.
